GROWW is the on-line grief recovery group I became associated with. Because of my extensive involvement with them, including becoming a chat-room host, I have a page to branch to several GROWW related sites.
M.D. Anderson connected us with Crown of Texas Hospice when Karen was discharged. Through their professional care, help, and follow-up, Karen was able to be as comfortable as possible while spending her last few weeks in our own bedroom. Marsha, Donna, Hank, and Stan, thank you for everything.
We were actively involved in First Assembly of God in Conroe, TX for over twenty years. With the develpments of the last few years we were not as involved in the activities of the church, so while I knew there would be support from some of the "old-timers", I still did not expect the over-whelming volume of concern and help from evryone, even from those who barely knew us. Their website will introduce you to the church and the ministries it is involved in.
Sometime ago, I found a site that offered a small piece of jewelry shaped like the breast cancer awareness ribbon with a small angel on it. This was a perfect momento to wear in memory of Karen, so I ordered two for examination.
