STILL MORE CLONES
Return to Home Page
If you've made it this far in this website, you'll have noticed that the phenomenon of the miniature fashion doll, that began with Topper Dawn, generated an entire industry for lesser-known toy companies. A pocket-sized doll, half the size of Barbie, could be made less expensively and mass-produced by the hundreds of thousands. Little girls loved the fact that they could take their favorite doll with them anywhere they went, and moms loved the inexpensive price tag.

On this page are featured a few more identified "clone" dolls, in case you happen across one and wonder, "Who's that doll?"
Bianca doll wearing an after-Topper prototype called "Graceful Lace".
This fashion has also been found on Tina Mod dolls, below.
Kitty doll, manufacturer unknown
Fashion Doll by BC International
Adorable Debbie, Adorable Kelly and Adorable Miss Toyerama were all made by the same manufacturer. The face is similar to the Kitty doll, above.
The Tina Mod doll at left is wearing the same mod-print red pantsuit found on Lil Miss Fashion and other dolls.
Below is a close-up of Tina Mod's sweet face, which looks similar to Mego's Dizzy Girl. Tina Mod came in blonde, brunette and redhead.
The Mod Miss on the left has a face similar to Fashion World dolls. The one on the right has a completely different look.
Mammy dolls, by Puppenhaus Wenco
Swinging Gina
Judy doll; available as blonde or brunette.
Cara doll by Plymouth
At left is a Forever Yours bride doll, one of many clone dolls that came with some kind of jewelry for the little girl to wear.

Below is an usual Miss Aerobic doll, who wears a spandex leotard, headband and funky striped tights. This one, I'm proud to say, is in my personal collection.
