These socks were constructed using the Tarim stitch...very old and looks like knitting...with a little inspiration from the Coppergate sock. I tried to get the appearance of the diagonal attachment on the side but not very well.

Still, they make quite comfortable evening slippers.

Here are the full-sized pictures of the socks.
You can just see the appearance of the diagonal attachment on the side in th lower left-hand corner.

I plan to make another try at it later with this stitch and possibly with the stitch used on the original Coppergate.
