A night picture of Sai Kung, taken at Chuk Yeung Road.
This is the crucial stage, traffic jam can slow us down 1-2 hrs.
Luckily, we came across some, and managed to pass them even on the
way down Ma On Shan.
It was very cold at CP4, I took 2 cups of hot soup to keep me warm.
Stage 5
One word, "cold": stopping for a few seconds , the body will get cold.
At CP5, we heard the news that the Americans became the Champion.
Stage 6
As my tendon was aching, I ease off on the level trail after going down
from Beacon Hill.
We met our support team near CP6. A cup of hot noodle is vital to our
body temperature.
You can see, how our baggages scattered inside the car.
The moon was rising, taken at CP6.
" The moon is hanging high, with the lonely stars behind."
Stage 7
Little memory left, as we still walking fast.
All the things happened like dreaming.
As it was very cold, we did not stay long at Lead Mine Pass.
Stage 8
The forefoot of both legs started aching especially for the left one.
But it was much better than the previous year,
as it started aching and losing sensation at the big toe, on the way
down Ma On Shan.
Sunrise, taken at the top of Tai Mo Shan.
Breaking the darkness, breaking our sleepiness, waking the walkers.
The sun was rising fast when we were obscured by the grass,
so we ran to the top to take this photo.
" ...And racing around to come up behind you again."
CP8, squatting and have the breakfast from our support team, a way of
stretching.
After breakfast, changing clothes, shoes, we left our bags to support team and ran for the final 2 stages.
Stage 9
We ran downhill on stage 9, and 亞基 ran with us, carrying water for us, taking photos for us.
"Tired, 累了"
And gaining the momentum again.
Stage 10
The sun was heating up, but we still tried to finish before 25hr mark.
"垂頭喪氣, Exhausted", we all bowed our heads to negotiate with the
final slope.
