1. Identify the term (usually 1 or 2 words) the prompt is asking a definition for 2. Consider where the word came from or how it evolved 3. Explain what the term is NOT 4. Explain the connotations, or feelings, that come with the word and why 5. Explain cultural details that influence what the word means on a deeper level |
