Dike
Definition:   An embankment constructed of earth or other suitable materials to protect land against overflow or to regulate water.

Purpose:    To assist in regulating water for protection of feedlots and to make better use of drainage facilities.

Conditions Where Practice Applies:
       Class III dikes constructed in rural or agricultural areas to prevent floodwater from entering farmsteads and feedlots.
