Dear Editor-
I want to congratulate the book store for their one-dollar Lewis and Clark
Community College black ball point pen. I am a writer and out to prove that Al
Capone was not the sayer of “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Indeed gram
and grammar have a common root in the Greek word “graphein,” meaning “to write,”
even as mathematics means a harvest of “the desire to learn.”
