Chapter Four
Jescele lay passed out in the back ally of a bar. Beer bottles lay empty all around her. No one knew how long she'd been there and no one seemed to care except the young woman of whom the bar, The Blue Haze, belonged. She was in her late twenties with flowing black hair and red eyes. She appeared from the back door of the bar the sun catching her sad eyes. They seemed to tell the tale of countless mornings of much the same way. She bent down by Jescele's side and touched her cheek. Still warm, that's always a good sign. Poor Jescele not again. You need to stop killing yourself this way. She shook her gently calling to her in a whispered singsong voice, "Come on Jescele time to wake up." Jescele opened her eyes as almost on command to the strange hypnotic sound of her voice. The harsh sun on her pale skin burned her eyes and she shut them immediately. Like a child needing to be coxed out of bed she lay there waiting for the unstoppable force that out enviably seize her from the heaven she knew as sleep.
"Come on," the smooth sound of her voice called to Jescele once more, "let me take you inside." Slowly Jescele rose of the dirty ground her founder shading her eyes from the sun. The timpani chorus sounding in her head caused her to stumble through the door and onto the floor.
"Let me get you something for that" she spoke to the still grounded Jescele. Jescele lay on her side, check to the cool floor letting the coolness calm her head.
"Drink this," she was handed a glass full of a gut wrenching liquid. After a few struggled gulps Jescele managed to sit up on the floor.
"How long this time," she chocked through eyes closed.
"A day maybe a lil more, Mango told me he found you last night but you wouldn't move," her founder moved around the bar toward her.
"How many this time," Jescele asked.
"15 shema I think after Hunter and his friend showed up I kinda lost track," she shrugged and smiled guiltily.
"I'm sorry Natalie," Jescele said, " I just needed to get away from everything."
"I thought you were going out with your new guy what happened," Natalie asked.
"Yeah we did go out it was kinda nice. You know in that different kinda way," Jescele smiled.
"Where'd he take you," Natalie asked.
"We went on a picnic actually and then we went back to his place for awhile," Jescele's smile grew bigger.
"And what happened when you went home," Natalie asked already knowing the answer.
" Nothing much..... You know we talked and stuff," Jescele laughed.
"Come on I know you Jescele you don't just talk. Besides who am I going to tell? Mango? He's a lil fruit you know he'll be proud of his dark angel."
"You just can't let me have a secret can you," Jescele asked.
"Of course not," Natalie laughed, "where's the fun in that?"
"Well after our date we went back to his place. It was kind of nice, we talked about things and we had a little fun," Jescele remembered.
"Come on I'm dying here did you or did you not have sex with him," Natalie demanded.
"What do you take me for a slut," Jescele asked
"Don't make me answer that," Natalie laughed. Jescele glared at her.
"Well anyways he started saying things I didn't need to hear so I had to kiss him to shut him up you know how that goes," She went on with her story.
           "Yeah go on," Natalie nodded.
"             Well the only way to keep him quiet was to keep his mouth from opening so I just made sure he was too tired to say any more," Jescele laughed, "you know what I mean?"
"So then why are you here," Natalie asked.
"You don't expect me to be there when he gets up so I can listen to him try to continue with what he was saying now do you?" Jescele asked, "but I guess I should call him, tell him I alright and stuff." She took out her cell phone.
"Call G-dog," she commanded her phone.
"Hello this is G-dog," his smooth voice came over the phone.
"Hey this is Jescele," she told him.
"Oh my Kami what happened? I was so worried you were gone when I woke up. It scared me," he sounded relieved.
"Yeah about that. I'm sorry I woke up and I remembered I promised I'd be at the club to help out and you know if they'd have found us we'd be in deep shit," she reminded him.
"I'm just glad you're alright," he told her, "I'd have called you earlier but it's been a mad house here. Mom made us go to the pool family outing or some bullshit. But Kami you should see Bulma hanging all over Vegeta like some kind George Washington on a Stripper."
"On My Kami that?s has got to be a sight. Wish I was there to have that kind of blackmail," she laughed.
"Listen babe I gotta go they're looking at me strangely again. Talk to you later tonight bye," he hung up.
"So," Natalie said staring at Jescele, " how is he?"
"He's good now that I called," Jescele answered, "but now tell me what's going on between you and Hunter? Anything I should know about?"
"This are going slow," Natalie, sighed, "I know I told him I needed the time but damn it's been months. I know this thing with his brother complicates things but I'd just like something more every now and then."
"What thing with his brother," Jescele wanted to know more.
"You know Jescele. His older brother introduced us but I was completely digging his brother but it turns out his brother's not into me. He's afraid I'm only with him because he looks so much like his brother," Natalie told her pausing to think of the identical brothers only two years apart, "you brought them in here that night."
"I don't have any friend with a brother named Hunter," Jescele told her.
"You talked to them the whole night," Natalie said.
"I talk to lots of guys I don't know. That's the fun of clubbing, that and the drinking," Jescele smiled.
"When's Xenta coming around again," Natalie asked, "I haven't seen her in a long time."
"She's always busy it seems but I'll ask next time I catch her," Jescele promised.
Bulma sat on her lounge chair about six feet from the pool. She was alone for all of five minutes before everyone came to the pool. First came Goten dragging Gohan behind him. Chi-chi had planed a family day at the pool much to Gohan's angst. When both Trunks arrived they all decided to swim laps to bulk up their muscles for the women they planed on meting.
"Hey boys what are you doing," Bulma asked hoping to get them out so she could be alone with Vegeta.
"It's pool day mom you know that," Chibi Trunks laughed. Guess you'll just have to watch me then.
"Alright have fun with your laps," Bulma sighed. I never could deny the boy anything and it"s all because he has no father. Bulma had never meant to have her son. It was a mistake she had to live with. She was only sixteen when it happened.I remember the night so well and all I want to do is forget. It haunts me day and night. I see those bright green eyes filled with lust and anger every night. He doesn't even know he changed my life that night. Nothing has ever been the same.
~Flashback~
It was a dark Friday night and the young Bulma was headed home for yet another endless night of partying. It was about 3 am when she left her friend's house to walk the six blocks home. Not only had she been drinking at the party but also she was also completely lost. The streetlight flashed dim in the eerie silence of the night. She normally left the parties late into the night to walk but it happened to be later then usual and she happened to be drunker then usual.
"You'd at least think one of those hotties would've offered me a ride," she complained to a fire hydrant that she was slumped over.
"I don't know," a sinister male voice came from the shadows, "I'm kind of glad they didn't." Bulma's shock quickly became fear but no scream escaped her trembling lips before a gloved hand was over her mouth and pulling her into the shadows.
"Now, now WOMAN don't fight me," he whispered into her ear tightening his grip on her. She struggled against him trying to free herself but he countered her every move tightening his grip every time.
"Please let me go," she cried.
"Now what would I do that," he laughed, "I caught you for a reason." Tears poured down her face as she struggled to get away. Suddenly she felt her feet leave the ground. Consumed by fear she latched onto him for dear life.
"Calm yourself I don"t intend to drop you," he told her but still she remained clutched to his rock hard chest. Her eyes were dried by the rushing wind around them. He flew he above the clouds to where she could see stars. If this hadn't been the most frightening moment of her life she would have thought it romantic. Her gaze dropped down and through a break in the clouds she caught sight of the ground. She grasped him tighter and buried her face into his shoulder. I'm gonna die! He's going to kill me I know it and I'll never see my parents again.A soft cry escaped her lips as she flew her to what she deemed her impending doom.
~End Flashback~
Bulma sat watching her son and his future self. She smiled to herself. Who would have known such a damn nightmare could turn out so beautifully?
~Flashback~

He landed in the parking lot of the "no tell motel". He pulled her by the wrists into one of the dingily rooms.
"Please don't kill me," she cried as he pushed her toward the bed.
"Kill you," he laughed, "if I'd wanted you dead I've have slit your throat on the spot. I'm not one to torture no wait I am but that's not what I want." She curled into a ball on the bed rocking back and forth crying in fear of what was about to happen. He eyed her suspiciously as he walked into the bathroom. The door slammed behind him and she looked up around the room. I've got to find a way out of here but how? And where can I go? I have no idea where I even am. She heard the shower running in the bathroom. Great he's taking a shower. That'll give me some time to get the HFIL out of here. She un-balled herself and snuck toward the door.
"I don't think so," he grabbed her shoulder and forced her to turn around, "you're not getting away from me." she struggled agenst him.
"Who are you and what do you want with me," she screamed pounding on his chest.
"I am the prince and I want your body," he grabbed her wrists and threw he onto the bed. He pined her down with his knee.
"I was going to be nice but," he looked at her filled with lust, "I'm just going to have to do this the hard way." He ripped off her tube top and smiled.
"No bra I like it," he smiled staring at her perfectly round breasts. From the nightstand beside the bed he produced two pairs of stainless steal handcuffs. She fought to get up but he pushed her down and handcuffed her left arm to the bed then her right before she had a chance to try and free herself her was back with a small box and a beer. She thrashed around on the bed trying to kick at him.
"Why are you doing this to me," she asked as she shoved two pills in her mouth and forced her to swallow them with some beer.
"Because I can," he laughed. He rose off the bed and flipped off the dull light plunging them into darkness. She sobbed knowing there was nothing she could do. She couldn"t even see where he was. His weight sank into the bed as he hovered over here. She felt his gloved and at her thigh. The sound of her jean shorts ripping mixed with her sobs. His gloved hand was on her bare skin rubbing her inner thigh.
"No," she managed between her sobs.
"Don't pretend you don't want this," he whispered pulling on her g-string. By this time the nameless drugs were taking their effect. He didn't even know what she had given her but it was working well. She cringed in pain as he took what he wanted. The last thing she could remember where his bright green eyes focused on her.
~End Flashback~
Bulma could still remember that night all too well. At first it was easy to hide from her parents, they were really naive of this kind of thing. At first it was just nightmares and the fear of the dark, then the fear of men and the loss of her wild nature. Suddenly she found herself pregnant with nowhere to turn. She confessed the truth to her parents and got the police involved but they never found the guy and she was secretly glad.
"Hey Bulma," Chi-Chi's voice brought her back to reality, "what are you working on now?"
"Oh it's nothing really," Bulma blushed at the thought of the current page on her laptop.
 "Can I have a look," Chi-Chi asked.
"Maybe later," Bulma shut her laptop and put it away.
"She must be reading her online romance novels again," 18 said sitting down next to Chi-Chi.
"Actually I was just jotting down some notes for my work. You know configurations for my new invention," Bulma half lied. In truth she had been working on a project of hers but no one would ever know about it.
In the pool M. Trunks was flirting with the teenage Marron. He was whispering things into her ear and she was laughing. Gohan, Goten and Chibi were all playing volleyball.
"Ten bucks says he's telling her to laugh," Goten said serving the ball Chibi.
"He doesn't need to pay girls to laugh," Chibi said thinking of his own girlfriend, "He has I girl in his own time. And with all his lines he has no trouble." Gohan looked at Miari and Marron and suddenly missed his girlfriend Jessica.
"So what do you thing Dog," Goten asked his bother.
"I think I need to make a phone call," Gohan said heading toward the side of the pool.
"I still say he"s telling her to laugh," Goten shrugged.
"Whatever man," Chibi said swimming over to his older slef and Marron. She doubled over with laughter at the identical boys" jokes. Goten floated all alone in the center of the pool holding the volleyball at his chest. I need to get a girlfriend or a hooker or something.
Xenta sat brushing her long hair at the vanity in the room she way staying in. she was lost in thought about Piccolo that she didn't even hear the door open or close.
"Eja I just stopped by on my way to see Uncle Piccolo to share some news with you," Ice's chipper voice made Xenta jump.
"Oh Ice hey," Xenta breathed easy, "what's going on?"
"Father said he thinks it best that you stay with us until your mission is done," She smiled happily.
"Oh Ice I can't. I have to work," Xenta sighed, "I'd love to but they need me at work."
"How about if you stop by when you can," Ice suggested sounding on the brink of tears.
"Sure that'd be great. Everyone needs to get away once in awhile," Xenta laughed.
"Now you need to decorate this place," Ice sounded happy again. Xenta stared at her.She is way too happy about this. But at least I'll have somewhere to go when Jescele's gone.
"You're right," Xenta smiled. This girl needs to get out more, "then we can hang out and I can help you find a man."
"Hey now that's what I like to hear," Ice laughed.
Gohan sat in a lawn chair away from everyone. He was staring at his phone in anger. Where is she? And why is her phone off? Chibi and Miari were still flirting with Marron, Bulma was trying to ignore Chi-Chi and 18, and Goten had left the pool to join Chibi and Miari. Chibi leaned in and kissed Marron on the cheek just to rile their mothers.
"Trunks keep your lips off my daughter," 18 yelled across the room.
"Yeah, she's too young for you," his mother added. Miari watched this all too familiar screen unfold. If only they all knew what's going to happen. How could he ever forget what he'd been through I his time? The events that took place, his interactions with Marron. It was going to be the same with Chibi and Marron. He couldn't do anything about it. No matter what they say he's going to be with her. It's already started; I can see that look in her eyes. He's going to need her to get past everything that's going to happen. Sometimes knowing the future was too much, as Miari was soon to find out. Suddenly Gohan's phone rang and he was lost in a conversation, forgetting all about everyone else.
Three days passed and Piccolo returned to AH leaving Xenta alone though he didn't want to. Bulma had flirted with Vegeta everyday and they ended up fighting every time. Chibi and Miari spent all their time together hidden away talking about women but one in particular. Chi-chi and 18 snuck around looking for Bulma's 'work' to see what she was really up to. Xenta and Jescele were to be back sometime that same day.
Vegeta walked down the hall looking for a place to hide from Bulma. So far so good. He ducked into the entertainment room to be alone. There he sat in his black leather recliner putting up his feet and shutting his eyes.
"You look comfortable," Xenta's voce came from beside the chair.
"What do you want woman," he asked not even opening his eyes.
"I just wanted to see how those scratches of yours were doing," she told him sitting on the arm of the chair, "I don't see to much improvement. Don't tell me you?ve been messing with them." He turned away from here revealing Jescele's marks to her not on purpose.
"Oh poor Vegeta," Xenta pretended to baby him, "you seem to be everybody's scratching post lately."
        "Shut up," he demanded.
"Does the truth bother you," she asked, "because I know you never had a problem when it was coming out of your own mouth." She stood up and walked away from him.
"Oh and Vegeta," she turned back, "stop messing with the scratch cat poison tends to leave scares if not left alone." She winked at him and ITed out of the room.
"Kuso woman," he said now with a sudden urge to pick at the scratch.
"There you are," Bulma burst into the room," I've been looking for you. The gravity chamber is fixed."
"It's about damn time woman" Vegeta pushed past her quickly. That's the only place she doesn't dare follow me. not even the shower is safe anymore. Vegeta made it to the gravity chamber in record time . he locked the door behind him so as not to be disturbed. He explained the room for hidden traps that could have been left by Bulma. I can't see any but that doesn't mean they're not here. he started to train to get his mind off of her, and it worked for all of a second. Why is she being so nice to me? it;s too creepy. She had to be planning something to get me somehow. Then his mind started to wonder to a night so long ago yet he could remember it well. He had come to earth on a mission yet he wanted a little fun. I just wanted one night, and that's exactly what I got. I never looked back until now! What the HFIL is wrong with me? why am I becoming so damn emotional?
From a locked room in AH Bulma sat starring intensely at a sweaty Vegeta on her computer screen. They only trap she had was to wire the cameras to send the live feed to her computer and record it. And he'll never know.
Xenta sat in Jescele's office waiting for her to show. It'd been a week since their return and Big T had an assignment for her. she was staring off into space when Jescele came in.
"When was the last time you saw him, Jescele asked.
"Not since that night," Xenta admitted, "well actually for about five minutes right after I got back. I gave him a lil warning about his scratch."
           "What warning," Jescele smiled.
"I told him not to mess with it," Xenta laughed, "or the poison would make it scar. You should have seen the look he gave me at the thought of a permanent mark on his face."
"But that's not possible," Jescele said thoughtfully, "you're claws don't produce that much poison."
"Yeah but he doesn't know that," Xenta laughed. Jescele smiled remembering her own fun she had when scratching up Vegeta's face.
"So what does Big T need me to do this time," Xenta asked remembering the reason she was there in the first place.
"He's sending you to South DC for a little bit," Jescele told her, "informants tell us that and old buddy of
Cell's is working at a bank there and it's your job to infiltrate the bank and get answers."
"Not a problem," Xenta nodded waiting for the catch, there was always a catch.
"You'll drive the bank truck and Vegeta-"
"NO, no, no, no, no," Xenta interrupted, "you said anything about veggie butt."
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that because I just don't want to know and continue," Jescele shook her head, "he is your partner and you will work with him."
"Piccolo I my partner," Xenta protested.
"Only for the Cell case," Jescele reminded her friend.
"This is part of the Cell case," Xenta insisted.
"This is something Big T has had in mind for you since before Cell escaped so you will go on this mission with Vegeta not Piccolo."
"I'm only supposed to be working on the Cell case until we wrap it up," Xenta tried.
"Big T has sent directions that for the next month you are to finish the assignments that were lined up for you. Piccolo will work the Cell case alone until then," Jescele explained. Xenta sighed defeated. Aneis! Why does he do this to me? It's like they want me to sleep with Vegeta again do they want a half Washin half Sayian child running around? I mean how can I spend a month with a man I want to fuck every night and come out fine?
"Why can't Vegeta go alone," Xenta asked.
"Oh yeah let Vegeta go down there alone," Jescele rolled her eyes, "he's have Dustahna up against the wall chocking her until she told him what he wanted to know."
"So Cell's friend is a girl," Xenta deduced.
"Yes and I would NOT have her up against the wall," Vegeta said coming into the room and sitting down, "I'd have her against a bed. That seems to make women melt." He stared directly at Xenta with a knowing look.
"Please," Xenta rolled her eyes, "you think to highly of yourself. Like that'll ever work." He leaned in so close to her ear she could feel his breath tingle the inside of her ear.
"It does with you," he whispered, "all the time." Jescele looked up at them and shook her head. I didn't need to hear that. Xenta griped the arms of her chair digging her pased claws into the wood. Aneis him for that. Why am I always so weak around him?
"You leave tonight and will return in a month," Jescele directed the two, "now veggie I mean Vegeta out I need to speak with Xenta alone."
"Yeah whatever," he turned to leave.
"Go pack or something," Xenta told him, "oh wait you won't need clothes if you're gonna have Dustahna against a bed all month." The two girls bust up laughing at Vegeta. He growled and left the room.
"He so set himself up for that one," Jescele laughed.
"I know I just couldn't resist the hit. To good," Xenta smiled.
"We need to discuss um, how did you put it.... veggie butt," Jescele continued to laugh.
"There's nothing to talk about," Xenta sobered up quickly.
"Then why did you claw up my chair when he whispered those words that I shall not repeat in your ear," Jescele asked.
"He got to close to me that's all," Xenta lied, " you know how I feel about people entering my bubble."
"That didn't seem to bother you in Denver," Jescele reminded her, " so don't lie to me. I know you still want him. It's in your eyes more then ever. It's getting harder for you to just walk away isn't it? The more time you spend getting one of them to help you the more you want him."
"You're talking nonsense Jescele," Xenta went to the door, "I'm- it's not getting harder in fact just the opposite, easier, yeah it's easier to let go then ever."
"Take my advice Xenta," Jescele told her; don't blind yourself to the truth. It only leads to pain."
"I'm not the one that's blind here," Xenta, said, "I know exactly what's going on."
"Whatever," Jescele said, "I've got a date to get ready for. See you in a month." The door slammed behind Xenta and Jescele sighed and palced a hand on the door.
"I know you know what's going on between you and Vegeta but you don't know everything. You need to let go before it's too late," Jescele spoke to the door, "I don't even know why Big T is sending you out there. what is happening around here anymore?"
