Chapter Three
Somewhere not so far away Xenta's undisclosed location, Agent Silver was wreaking havoc on some poor city. She hovered over what had once been Main Street. Why does her have me out here wasting my time? I could be of with, oh who cares! I could be storming AH and using my time killing the Son family. Silver's phone interrupted her thoughts.
"Great! I can't even be gone an hour before he wants to know where I am," Silver complained to herself answering her phone, "Yes?"
"Where are you my pet," Dende's cruel voice flowed out of the phone. Silver cringed. She hated the phone. In her opinion she felt it was the worst invention ever made. Anything that let Dende keep tabs on her needed to be destroyed, but he didn't like it when she blew up her last phone. She had been severely punished.
"I'm on position. But I don't see my target anywhere," she told him.
"He'll be there and he's not coming alone. You know your mission.... DO IT," he yelled before the phone clicked off. She slipped it back on her belt and stared down at the street below.I don't see why I'm supposed to kill this guy, not that I'd want to pass up the chance for revenge on the man who killed my people. I can't wait to get my hands on him but I want to make him suffer. Down in the rubble below a small boy emerged. He was badly injured and needed medical attention. Silver glared at him from her rooftop. Stupid humans! You think you're so strong. Look at your city. I destroyed it in a matter of minutes. You are nothing to me. Silver gathered a small energy ball in her hand and tossed it at the boy piercing his heart killing him. HA! Now that was fun! Nothing like some good destruction and killing to take my mind off this lame assignment.Hardly noticeable down on the street, two hooded figures bobbed in and out of the rubble trying to hide but with no such luck. There he is! I can smell him. He thinks he can hide down there. Ha nothing can hide from the Silver Killer! She readied her first blast but held it back. Something kept her from firing. He may hold the blood of a whole race of people on his hand s but her deserves and honorable death. She flew down to greet her advisory head on.
"Today you pay for your crimes," she pointed at them, " I am your executioner!" She raised her ki the wave ruffling their robes. She blasted them point blank. A furry of ki blasts flew back and forth across the rubble. The two strangers took much more damage then Silver. The first of the two hooded men shot up and attacked her. Kicking and punching back and forth. She dug her claws into his green skin purple blood flowing out of the fresh wounds. He couldn't get a punch in as she mutilated his body. With a kick she disregarded him and turned to his comrade.
"You will pay," she screamed flying toward him with such speed her opponent could barely see her. She came down on his with such fury he didn't have a chance. Minutes she searched the rubble looking for them.
"Now. Now don't hide from me. The more you run the worse I'll punish you, "she laughed, " my, my so much blood for just two fighters. You much be near death I guess I did a better job then I thought!" she flew up above the ruins to survey form a distance.
"Oh well looks like I've incinerated you," she laughed sending more blasts into the rubble before flying away. When the ki blasts stopped the two crawled with the last of their strength to a hidden door. Blood was everywhere around them a picture of purple and red before they both passed out.
Everyone at AH was in a frenzy trying to find Piccolo. He hadn"t been seen by anyone there.
"Only Xenta was with him," Bulma pointed out.
"But she's missing too," Krillen reminded them, "We need to find her."
"I agree," all eyes turned toward Vegeta, "What? If we find her we find him." I know they're together! I can feel it. I'm Vegeta and I know when someone like Her is with someone like HIM! Cause I know what she wants from him. They all looked at him as if her were crazy.
"You can't believe that," Gohan asked, "Why would Xenta kidnap Piccolo?" Kami you fools! She needs to him get off this miserable planet. Vegeta felt like blasting them into the next solar system. Only he and Jescele knew why Xenta would need Piccolo to leave. Damn Jescele for telling me. She kept me form two years of great sex with Xenta by telling me the truth. If I hadn't known about her "ability" I wouldn't have to play with her. Vegeta had spent the last two years, on Jescele's advice, not sleeping with Xenta. For some reason she needed to stay on earth.
~Flashback~
Vegeta walked around Freedom Park. It had started to rain not to long ago but his mission was too important to go home. He had just been assigned a partner for the fist time in all his years working for AH. She was so different from all the other women he'd ever met. She fought back and wasn't afraid to show a man she was stronger. She thinks she MY partner! I'm a lone agent. I don't need anyone. Vegeta walked around waiting, there was only one person who could fix this, Jescele. She'll get Big T to get rid of my partner. Jescele's the only one who even talks to Big T. Finally he sat down on the edge of the fountain. He scanned the park for her but she was nowhere among the crowd.
"Now Vegeta what could I possibly do to you- for you out here," Jescele's seductive voice whispered into his ear. She hopped out for the top of the fountain to sit next to him.
"I command you to speak to Big T for me," he demanded, "I will not work with a partner!"
"It was I that ask you to work with her," Jescele revealed, "she is my friend and I know you two will lean from each other."
"Stay out of my work woman," Vegeta growled.
"You cannot deny the attraction you feel for her. And you cannot deny that you've seen they way she looks at you," Jescele traced her nail down his check.
"Heed this warning," her eyes turned black reflecting nothing but darkness, " do not let her seduce you. Never sleep with her you will bring about the end of it all before the proper time. This is a game Vegeta and if you make your moved before the appointed time all will fall into darkness and no one will win." The lights around the area burst plunging them into darkness. Slowly the backup lights came on. The people in the park were rushing to get away form the park and Vegeta had lost Jescele again.
~End flashback~
"Vegeta you there man," Gohan waved his hand in front of his face.
"Stop that," Vegeta slapped the hand away, "what do you want?"
"We're gonna call Xenta's cell but only you have the number," 18 answered more than annoyed.
"I'll call her," he huffed walking away.
"I think he's got a problem," Krillen noted.
"Yeah, his problem is Xenta," Bulma told them.
 "What," Gohan asked.
"Ok so we didn't have time to tell you. Vegeta actually slept with Xenta in Denver and now he's changed," Bulma told him.
"No wonder why he hasn't insulted me as much lately," Gohan mused, "damn he should get sex more often. I know I'd sure benefit for it."
 "Gohan!" they shouted at him.
Xenta and Ice heard something heavy slam against the front door and raced to see what it was.
"Oh no Father," Ice cried out," seeing her father's battered body bleeding in front of her. His companion was barely conscious but just as beaten.
"Surprise attack, Agent Silver," then nothing he fainted. The two picked put the unconscious men and dragged them over to the hospital room.
"Who are they," Xenta asked after the last one had been hooked up to a machine.
"This one's my Father," Ice said removing his cloak to heal him, "take his clock off so we can see who he is." Xenta reached up to pull the clock off when her phone let off its ring tone "superman" by Five for Fighting. She glanced down to see whom was calling her at such and inopportune time. The screen read "Vegeta". She ignored him by turning off the phone and getting back to work. This man's cloak was soaked in purple blood. She untied the strings from around his neck and slowly worked the cloak out form under him trying her best not to move him too much. Finally the cloak was free, Xenta cast it aside without even looking at him. Ice moved from her father to survey the damage. Leaning over to assess the damages her necklace slid off form around her neck.
"Oh no," Ice whispered as her Australian pendent fell. Xenta turned around just in time to catch it before even the chain could touch the injured.
"Here," Xenta handed it back to her. Ice blindly grabbed it in shock at who her patient was. Xenta turned to look as well and froze. There in front of her was piccolo.
"What's he doing here," Ice wondered. I haven't seen Uncle Piccolo since I was like six. That was ten years ago and now all of a sudden Father brings him back. I've missed him so much. All the stories about before... about my mother. Xenta was confused. She had no idea that Piccolo had friends. She always figured he was such an ass to because he didn't have love in his life. Kami I hope when he comes too that he doesn't tell Ice who I am. I don't even know why I'm here. I can't have him blowing it before I find out.
"Who is he," Xenta asked trying not to let anything on.
"He's my uncle," Ices aid sadly, "my uncle Piccolo. I haven't seen him in ten years." Uncle! No one ever mentioned he had family! Now what am I gonna do now? I can't convince him to help me now. Xenta needed to get out of there, clear her head and think up a new plan.
"Don't you need to heal him," Xenta asked.
"Oh yeah," Ice smacked her forehead before healing him, "now come on we need to let them sleep."
Vegeta sat in his room debating weather to pick up the phone or not. He needed to call Xenta but he didn't really want to know where she was. After a deep breath he dialed but it just rang then voice mail.
"Damn Xenta why don't you ever answer your phone!" he yelled, " We need to talk. We can't find Piccolo or Jescele. Stop being an ass and talk to us. We actually need you. Fine bitch. I know you're with him. Call me. We need to talk," Vegeta slammed the phone down in anger unaware of the plan being formulated against him. Why can't I stop think about her? Ever since we.... I was so ready after Jescele had said it was time I had to see her and then I found out she had gone to see him. Piccolo! Of all the damn people in the world. I know what she wants him. And she'll get him too! Because she always gets everything she wants! Everyone especially Jescele treats her like a damn princess. She's noting, only a troublemaker sent here because she was evil. I don't even know how she ended up in my life! This is all Jescele's fault. She told me to sleep with her.
~Flashback~
Vegeta waited by the fountain in the park again. He always had to meet her there. The night sky was clear and the stars shone bright in all there glory. He looked up at them wondering if he could see any planets. He knew Xenta's was near by but unknown to him he'd never be able to see it. I know she keeps asking me out here. This place is so damn far away from everything that no one will ease drop on us. That's a good thing considering the things she always has to tell me. He looked around to see if he could find her but once again he could not see past all the young lovers. Blah! People who think they're in love. I hate how naive humans are. They don't even understand what they feel so they keep getting hurt.
"It's sickening isn't it," Jescele asked from behind him.
"Of course, young love! I don't see the point," Vegeta agreed.
"Why would you," she asked, "all you need is a good hooker or one night stand!"
"What's wrong with that," he wanted to know, "it's your fault. If you'd just let me-"
"Let you sleep with Xenta. I know, I know," she said with him. He growled at her clenching his fists.
"Down boy," she laughed, "and now for the reason I'm here." her smile was too sweet for Vegeta.
"Just tell me," he demanded. She loved making him suffer.
"I've got good news and bad news for the lil prince of all sayians," she winked at him.
"Just tell me so I can get out of here," he demanded, "these people are making me sick."
"You've been given permission to have your way with Xenta," Jescele smiled evilly.
"Finally and the bad news," he asked.
"Who says that the good news," she laughed.
 "Just tell me," he growled.
"She left a few hours ago headed to Denver," Jescele told him, "she's looking for Piccolo."
"WHAT?!??!" he blasted a nearby tree causing people to look the other way and mumble hurrying away from them.
"Go after her if you want her that badly and I know you do," she leaned in to whisper in his ear, " you've wanted her for along time. You need her. I can see it in your eyes so don't deny It." he closed his eyes as she spoke.
"It's the desire that burns inside of you. Don't think I don't know about the games you play with her," Jescele whispered.
"I don't play games," he said angrily.
"But you do," Jescele insisted, "you go to her at night and lead her on. You make her think you will let her then you leave her making her seek comfort from others."
"What do you mean others," he turned fiercely toward her but she was gone.
"Damn it she always does that," he walked into the trees to flew away. He was headed to Denver.
~End Flashback~
Bulma packed her pool bag with her normal pool supplies. She was headed to the indoor pool for a swim and to relax. Ok I have my towel, my laptop, and my CD player. She took one last look at her reflection before heading out. Eat your heart out Vegeta. Grabbing her bag she headed out the door. As she turned down the hall her cell phone went off. Kami not now. She unclipped it from her belt to see who it was.
"Oh hey Xenta," she said still walking toward the poolroom.
"Hey Boss," Xenta stressed the last word.
"Xenta so glad you called butt why not Vegeta," Bulma asked.
"Avoidance," she answered, "and I'm checking in. telling you I'm fine and so is P. not sure where he is but I've been assured that he is fine."
 "What about Jescele," Bulma asked.
"I haven't seen or heard from the J project but I'm sure I will soon," Xenta announced clearly.
"When will you be back," Bulma wanted to know.
"I'm not really sure," Xenta answered, "and don't tell anyone I've called. I need to be alone for a little while."
 "What about Vegeta," Bulma asked.
"Especially not him," Xenta begged, "in fact why don't you keep him busy. Have some fun with him. Do whatever go crazy."
 "What about-"
"Don't worry about me I'm fine with it. I mean I'm telling you to do it," Xenta cut her off, "and you know you want to." Xenta hung up not waiting for Bulma's reply. Bulma smiled clipping her phone back on her belt. Looks like I'm playing baby-sitter of a big baby. Oh well at least I can still have my fun.
"Eja come here," Ice called. Xenta headed into the other room noticing that Ice's father was out of bed.
"Father this is Eja," Ice introduced them, "and Eja my Father Freiza."
"I'm Washin," she bowed as a sign of respect, " my full name is Ejalin, Rebel but Eja is less formal."
"What are you doing here," he asked, "this is not your home planet."
"I'm 23," she told him, "my brother sent me here in exile form our home planet. I was punished for helping the alliance to fight against his unjust ruling."
"Have you ever tired to return home," he asked,
"It is my one goal. I must return and help save my people. They are dying under his rule," she answered.
"We shall help you in anyway possible. The plight of your people cannot go unaltered," Freiza said and that was then end of the interrogation.
"How is the other one doing," Xenta asked slightly worried about Piccolo.
"Piccolo is in the other room," Freiza answered.
"Did you call me," piccolo asked entering the room but he stopped and looked at Xenta. When he caught her eye it was Piccolo who silently pleaded for her to pretend not to know him.
"Hello," she bowed, "I am Eja. It is nice to meet you." She smiled a sweet, unhateful smile.
"I am Piccolo," he bowed, "Ice's uncle." Piccolo and Xenta looked at each other. Both had questions to ask the other and neither knew they'd be able to find the answer they were searching for.
"Who'd you call," Ice asked breaking the silence.
"A friend that I work with," Xenta answered without looking away from Piccolo, "it seems a co-worker left without telling anyone so she wanted to know if I'd seen him."
"Maybe he hasn't had time to call yet," Piccolo suggested not even blinking.
"We should all eat," Ice chimed in, "come Father help me with the food." Frieza followed his daughter grumbling about helping.
"What are you doing here," Xenta asked when they were alone.
"Making sure you don't get killed," Piccolo answered crossing his arms.
"What are you talking about," she asked angrily, "I can take care of myself."
"Not from what I've seen," he glared at her.
"What are you talking about," she exploded, "I do fine by myself."
"Agent silver would have killed you," he yelled at her.
"I was just fine. You didn't have to bother," she tired.
"Sure let you die and have everyone else kill me," he yelled.
"You could have left me and I would have been fine. When I get hurt I change into a tiger. In that form I"m fine. My injures do not progress and Agent Silver had yet to find out such information," she explained.
"Time to eat," Ice called happily as she entered the room.
"Damn it happened again," Xenta run her tongue over her teeth, "never fails every time cat fangs." She phased them away and followed Ice. Piccolo took up the end shaking his head.
"It's really a helpful phase but it seems to happen at the worst times," Xenta continued, "always seems to happen when I'm in a mood for fun."
"Having fun with Uncle Piccolo," Ice joked.
"Yeah you know he's just so much fin," Xenta laughed. Piccolo closed his eyes parrying when he opened them he'd be somewhere else but there was no such luck.
"Lets eat already," Frieza called from the other room.
Agent Silver sat in her room alone again, Dende wouldn't call for her until later. Until then she worked on her plan to find out about the gaps. She wanted to know where she went on the days she was missing. She had set up a calendar then crossed off only the days she could remember. The past two weeks were blank. She could remember nothing not even if she had lived those days. She was beginning to think Dende drugged her or kept her in suspended animation just for fun. It was the only plausible explanation. It wasn't like she was living a double life that she couldn't remember. How can I disappear for that long and not even remember what I've done? I'm not sure  I've been in the state let alone country. I mean I could have had the best sex of my life and missed it because I can't remember. It. I know this has something to do with Dende but what? She paced around her room trying to remember. She sat back down and pulled to a book from between the mattress of her bed, opened it and started reading.
A few more days and it will all be over. The best thing in my life will be complete. I canit wait. This is the best time of my life. I?m in love and I have great friends, well most of them. One of them doesnit want me to go through with this, they think he is bad for me but I still love him.
 -Silver
This is another thing I can't remember! When did I fall in love? What happened to him? What best thing could have happened to me? Who are these great friends and who is the one who didn't like him? How does Dende fit in here? Could he have done this to me?
"Why can't I remember," she whispered.
"Maybe he doesn't want you to," someone told her.
"Who's there," she jumped up prepared to fight.
"I won't hurt you silver," he told her, "I'm here to help."
"How can you help," she asked still on guard against a trick.
"I know what happened and I know those of whom you with to remember," he told her.
"Who are you," she asked, "and why should I trust you?"
"Call me Cell. I was evil once, confused fed lies so that I could destroy others lives for my creator. It was because of my mistakes that some much that has happened," he answered, it's a long story but I will tell you one day if you let me help you."
"You caused me this pain," she asked in anger.
"Not this," Cell gestured around, "this wasn't really my fault but if it makes you feel better I'll take the blame." She looked at him for a moment. Of all the men that can in and out of Den Corp he was the first to want to take away her pain. He was the first to care.
"I guess I have no choice," she smiled showing he fangs.
"You could live like this forever," he suggested, "or let me show you the friends, family, and loved ones you once knew."
"I want to know them," she admitted, "can you please tell me what you did?"
"In time little Silver, in time," he promised.
Xenta lay in what was now her bed at the palace. It was late, around three in the morning. She couldn't sleep that night. Her mind was on other things and Piccolo in a toga was at the top of the list. He had been so forward about the secrecy thing. It ate at her to know why. Why is her so secretive about everything? I know I'm not going to get him to tell me his intimate secrets so soon. I really don't even know why I care so much. He just seems like he could use someone to care. Everyone treats him like a Kami back at work. He needs someone to treat him like a normal person. He's such a damn fool though, afraid to get too close to people in cause he might get hurt again. I really wish I knew more about his connection here before I go probing around. Maybe if I get far enough under his skin he'll help me save my people. He's my last hope. She lay there for some time and still could not manage even a little sleep so she climbed out of bed and went to turn on the stereo. After a few seconds of channel surfing she found a good song, "Secret Release". She listened to the verses in science but belted out the chorus forgetting that she wasn?t back in her soundproof room at AH.
I'm over it
You see I'm falling in the vast abyss
Clouded by memories of the past
At last I see
I hear it fading, I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
You feel them finding, always whining
Take my hand now be alive
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone?
I'm over it
Why can't we be together embrace it?
Sleeping so long taking off the mask
At last I see
My fear is fading, I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
You feel them finding, always whining
Take my hand now be alive
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone?
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone?
Everyone
Everyone
The song ended with the usual soft note. From behind her she heard the sound of sarcastic clapping. She whipped around hitting the power button with the tip of her tail turning off the radio.
"I didn't think anyone else was up," she justified her behavior.
"We need to talk EJA," Piccolo stressed her name. She nodded and moved to sit on the bed. He walked in shutting the door behind him. She gestured for him to sit so he pulled out the chair from the desk.
"So what brings you here at three thirty in the morning," Xenta glanced at the clock on the wall.
"This is about today," she said stiffly.
"Listen I'm sorry I yelled. I'm just tired of spending my whole life having people telling me what I can and can't do. I'm not a child anymore and shouldn't be treated like one. I know how far I can go in a battle," she told him.
"We can't let them know anything," he told her.
"I know she sighed, "We have to keep the secrets." That's all I ever get to do. He was salient so she went on, "how do you know them?"
"I told you not to pry into my life," he reminded her a bit angry. She drew back away from him to tired to fight, which was not often.
"Fine," she huffed turning toward the bare walls so as not to have to look at his tempting body.
"Don't be mad at me," he demanded standing up and putting the chair back, "I'm only looking out for you. It's better for everyone to leave the past where it belongs." He stare could have burned a whole thorough solid concrete. It's kinda hard to leave the past alone when you're still living in it.
"If I didn't then I'd have to let my people suffer forever," she told him imagining a thousand knives flying toward him ready to kill. He walked toward the door pretending not to listen.
"I don't care," he whispered leaving her room and shutting the door.
"And that"s why you need me," she spoke to the door. I'll find our you're connection here. You can't hide from the truth forever. She flipped off the light and pased her eyes cay-like to see better. I'll make you care Piccolo because I know you want to. She looked out the window at the moon knowing she couldn't stay there much longer. A cat can't stay caged forever. I have to get out of here before Jescele gets back. Where are you Jescele? This is the twelfth time you've gone off on your own and I've covered for you. They're gonna find out one day that I don't really know where you are.
Agent silver sat contemplating the things that Cell had told her. Why would Dende not want me to know my friends and family? I thought he cared about me. She sat on the roof of Den-Corp staring at the stars. I can't believe he's going to help me. I'm going to have real family and friends. I haven?'t seen them in forever. I wonder if they miss me or even remember me? The stars grew brighter as the night wore on but she remained up there alone. I can't wait till he tells me the story and then I can go home again. Home! A real home not the cold walls of Den-Corp.
While Agent Silver was on the roof, inside Den-Corp Dende, Moondust, and a man clocked in darkness discussed her future.
"You said I could have her UNTOUCHED," the unknown screamed at Dende.
"I got bored," Dende shrugged not caring, "I needed a little fun."
"You call fifteen years A LITTLE FUN," he screamed some more. He was ready to hurt Dende, bad. Because you broke your promise I'm breaking mine. This thought alone kept him form lunging at Dende.
"Lord Dende answers to no one," Moondust spoke boldly.
"You stay out of this," the unknown commanded, "this will never concern you."
"It's because of people like you I am the person I became," she spat.
"I'd never stoop to the level of fucking your ass," the unknown retaliated. Before she could say anything else Dende broke in, "Moondust hold your tongue." She glared at them but obeyed.
"Now," Dende turned to his guest, "I believe you still have to bring me he body of a warrior that you le get away."
"Yes Lord Dende." The words bitter to his mouth as he bowed, "I shall bring it to you."
"Before it is too late," Dende demanded.
"Before its to late," the unknown repeated
"Moondust," Dende called, "when is the nest full moon?"
"Two days," she spoke softly, almost weakly.
"Your power is fading again," the unknown smirked, "that means you have to send her back into their arms. And you know one day they're going to get smart and fid out where she's going." And that will be your end.
"Away from me" Dende commanded. The unknown bowed mockingly and left head held high knowing he'd get his chance soon.
"Moondust," Dende called, "tonight." She looked at him to weak to speak. Her own power was fading but she didn"t show it. She knew that this last act would take all but her life's power. She left quickly to do the deed. Dende sat alone in his chair rubbing his head in pain. There was so much that he could no longer remember about his past. Ever since the others turned on me Moondust has been there but there has to be more before that doesn't there? Why can't I remember a time of peace?
A figure clocked in darkness watched Dende and knew his thoughts. I know all about you Dende, Kami of Earth. it took me long enough to change your heart and turn you. I know what you wish but it will never happen. All will go my way! I refuse to fall to them. I have come too far.
Agent silver still sat in her spot watching the stars. She yawned softly, the hour talking its tool. She stood wings wrapped around her to keep he warm. She was just about to go back inside when she heard an enchanting voice. A female was singing somewhere in the distance. The words ended abruptly. She moved to get off the roof when her vision failed her. All turned As the song continued another voice joined in., a voice so familiar yet just as unknown. to black and she fell. Her body limp and her eyes closed. She fell in a freefall toward the ground. As her body closed in on her impending doom she disappeared.
