    It is an honor and a priviledge to serve on the Executive Board.  It provides an opportunity to help shape your child's experience in our program and make Pop Warner a better organization for everyone involved.  Every parent that cares about their child's experience with Pop Warner should attempt to get involved with the organization and at some point perhaps serve on the Board.
     Please feel free to email any of the Board members, with comments, questions or information.
     All of the Board positions are for a term of 3 years, with some positions up for election each year.  However, occaisionally Board members are unable to fulfill their term in office and the positions they vacate are filled by appointment by the President and subject to Board approval.
     The following positions are elected following odd-numbered seasons (i.e. 2000, 2003, etc.):  Pres., VP, F.B. Rep., Treasurer, Secretary, Football Comm., Cheer Comm., Cheer Coord.
      The Board of Directors is comprised of individuals that serve as advisory members to the Executive Board, they do not have voting power.
    
The Exzecutive Board Positions are:

President    
Responsible for the overall administration of the program and the oversite of the Board of Directors.
Vice-President    
Responsible for assisting the President and his/her duties, as well as filling in for the President if unavailable.
Treasurer    
Responsible for maintaing the budget, paying the bills, filing tax return, and administering the finances of the program.  Works under the authority of the President and the Vice-President and in conjunction with the Board of Directors..
Secretary
Takes minutes of all Board meetings and general meetings.  Maintains a record of meeting minutes and is responsible for the distribution of minute copies to all Board members.
Football Representative
Represents the association at leagur meetings and reports back to the Board.  Communicates with JSPWFL all concerns, scheduling, oversees games and is a direct liason with and to league officials and game officials.

Football Commissioner

Oversees and directs all aspects of the Football program, oversees coaches and paperwork related to the Football program.  Reports to the President and Vice-President

Cheer Commissione

Oversees and directs all aspects of the Cheer program, oversees coahces and paperwork related to the Cheer program.  Reports to the President and Vice President

Cheer Coordinato
r
Coordinates the certification process for all cheerleaders with the Cheer Commisioner and assists in all aspects of the Cheer program.  Responsible for filling in for the Cheer Commisioner if unavailable

Team Positions are:
Each team should have the following volunteer positions filled:
Coaches/Jr. Demonstrators
If you would like to help coach or become a Jr. Demonstrator for the Cheerleaders, please contact the Head Coach and they will let you know how you can best help the team.
Team Mom/Dad
Handles all team events and is the liason between the coaches and the parents.  The Snack Bar Mgr. coordinates with the Team Mom/Dad for each team's day to help the snack bar.
Snack Bar
All parents are asked to help out in the snack bar.  Ask your Team Mom/Dad and they will be able to coordinate for you a  day/shift to work the snack bar.

Association Positions
Director of Fundraising
Responsible for all fundraising activities, including soliciting donations/sponsorships, organizing fundraising events, and managing the sale of fundraising items.  Oversees fundraising committee.
Snack Bar Mgr.

Coordinates and oversees all aspects of the Snack Bar.

Equipment Mgr.

Responsible for organizing, storing, handing-out, maintaining, and collecting at the end of the season all equipment and uniforms.

Publicity

Keeps notes on what happens during the teams games so that it can be posted on the web site

Chain Crews

Holding the first down markers on the sidelines at home games - 3 people (minimum age of 16) are needed.

Videographer & Photographer

Game tapes are an important learning tool.  Photographes are great for the web site and for end of the year slide show!

Statistician

The kids love to know the stats from the games and it's also a great tool for the coaches
!
Announcer

Call the games over the P.A. system at home games.  Minimum of two required - one as backup.

ATTENTION!
Volunteers are always needed!  Please get in touch with your child's coach and or any member of the Organization to let them know you are interested and willing to volunteer your time.  Thank you in advance!  It takes team work!
