| Pop Warner Football and Cheering season rapidly approaches and I am excited and looking forward to a new season! I would like to remind everyone of our purpose. Simply, we are here to provide a fair, fun, and safe opportunity for our children to participate in an organized football and spirit program. This past year the Executive Board asked particular members of our community to become a part of the LBPW Board of Directors. Our vision is to bring together our community to first and foremost support the Pop Warner program through attendance, participation and financial support. Our program has been steadily growing each year, however the volunteers remain the same few loyal people that work hard to keep the program together. It is our hope that the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, the parents and community will work together to realize our vision. This vision is to provide LBPW with the support and resources it needs in order to give our children the type of Pop Warner experience they so deserve! I would like to remind all to teach our children to have fun as well ... teach them good sportsmanship ... teach them that success or failure is not dictated by numbers on a score board. I ask that as parents you become involved in our program and volunteer your time, not only to cheer your child on but also to help out with the program. Our success is dependent on parents, relatives and friends willing to make our program a success! I thank you in advance for all of your help and look forward to our new season 2004!
