Oh, My Goddess! Loser meets beuatiful girl.  loser falls in love with girl. Girl really likes loser, too.  Loser is too afraid to try anything with girl.  Loser movers in with girl...and her sister.  Did I mention the girl is a Godess?  This twisted little tale of romance and life is just sweet enough to laugh at (and filled with bad puns and silly little jokes) but not to sweet to send you running for the bathroom as your lunch makes an unexpected return.  Done in Black & White the art is simple and clean.  The covers are wonderful, fit to be framed.  The story arcs take between 3-7 issues then there are usually a few one-shots in-between, making it easy to slid right into this series.
Ranma 1/2.  What do you do when every time you get hit by cold water you turn form a tall dark hair boy into a short red-haired girl?  What do you say to new fiance?  And what about all those friends that also turn into things, like cats and pigs and ducks?  Well this manga was designed to answer all your shapeshifting questions.  Plus you'll get a heck of a laugh out of it.  Akane is quite possibly one of my most favorite characters of all time.  This one's also done B&W.  It has been made into a very popular anime series (which I highly recommend seeing).  The only problem is that each story line ends in the middle of one book, and the other half of the book is a new story.  This can make you go insane, and start back order till there's no tommorrow.  Take my advice, jump in at the beginning and never look back, you're doomed if you do.
Transmetropolitan.  Awesome. Funny. Disturbed.  Warren's Best work ever.  All words that properly define this title. *Caution* Not for Children!.  This book has sex and drugs and two-headed cats eating geckos!  Take one serious hit of X, and try to read this, you'll die!  I really love Spider!  O.k. I'll calm done enough to actually tell you about it.  Imagine the future.  Just past the nuclear winter, America sucks now, news is done in the buff, and there's only one man willing to take a stand for Truth!  Enter Spider Jeruselum.  The tough talking, no-nonsense, hard-hitting journalist that carries a bowel disruptor.  That's right, that's what it does.  It makes you poop yourself.  See? Funny right?  Plus his two new assissntants and the cat.  It's a wonderfully well crafted story, that flows like buttah'.  Read This! That's an order!
Knights Of the Dinner Table.  A damn fine comic dedicated to gamers the worl over.  It's a B&W, of a group of four people sitting around a table gaming.  if your a gamer or know someone who is, check this out.  It's funny, 'cause it's true.  Plus, as an added bonus, the man who created the Lindsey-dillo, that's right B-san, does a two page spread in each new issue.  It's awesome.  Pick up yours today. Found wherever gaming stuff or comic books are sold. (although I have recently put this one down.  It just stopped being as funny after a while *sigh*)
