One of the things owners of websites like mine won't tell their visitors about paid email schemes is this: unless you intend to put the time and effort into gaining referrals(inviting others to join the site under you) then the chances are you will be completely wasting your time by joining. It really is that simple. Opt-In-Pays is one of the very few exceptions to that rule however because you can still make an easy $3-5 a month without referrals but it won't get any better than that. The good thing is that if you have a website and can refer others to the site then you can earn really good money by doing very little! Don't worry if you haven't got a website either because traffic exchange programs allow you to promote your referral link absolutely free...just so long as you can put the time and effort in to doing so.

Anyhoo, 'warning' over, let me tell you why I choose to promote this one over and above the hundreds, if not of others out there.

As it stands there are two main sections to the site - a paid to read email scheme and a paid to click links page. Currently you receive around $0.005 - $0.01 for every email you read which is about average for paid email programs and $0.03 for each paid link on their links page which is excellent when compared to the competition who generally pay only a fraction of a cent per link! Emails are sent directly to your inbox and you have 10 days to respond to get credit whilst new links go live throughout the day(and night!) so you will either need to check back regularly OR set your browser homepage to the address provided on your Opt-In-Pays member profile and potentially earn $0.03 every time you open up your browser. There is however a limit of one paid link click/browser visit every hour which prevents heavy users taking all the spoils...

The reason I like this program is that quite simply - it's very, very busy! Lots of new $0.03 links go live every day and I typically receive between 3 and 10 paid emails daily. In real terms this means that whilst gaining referrals is still preferable, you do not actually need them here to earn from the site. Better still, rather than operating on the premise that if they set their payout levels high enough most members will never reach it (a typical paid email trick) Opt-In-Pays has NO MINIMUM level so you can cash out on $0.01 if you want to! In fact you don't need to actually cash out at all, because if you set PayPal or E-Gold as your payment option you will automatically have the balance of your account transfered monthly into your account. If you opt to receive a check you will need to reach $20 first however, although the site owner claims this level will be reduced soon.

So then...about those referrals. At Opt-In-Pays you earn 50% of what you referrals earn from emails, 25% of what THEIR referrals earn, 12.5% of what their referrals' referrals earn...and so on for unlimited levels. You also earn 20% of what they earn for clicking links and 10% for everything they earn for referring advertisers to the site. I think it's easy to see from those figures alone how you can make a lot of money here if you put the time in!
