NFO surveys review

Open to: Americans Only
Frequency of surveys: High - several monthly
Value of surveys: Up to $15 per survey (average seems to be $2-$10)
Paid me: Yes, several times

NFO - National Family Opinion - is a credible paid survey site run by a legitimate market research company with a long history in providing research services through the United States. The company has in fact been in existence since 1946 in its offline guise before branching out into the on line world in 1995 and quickly becoming one of the most trustworthy survey companies online. They are a very active American survey site, often sending several surveys a week to their members and one I would highly recommend to anyone from the USA looking to earn a few dollars from the internet. Simply by expressing your opinion here for a few minutes a month in their regular surveys you can earn cash and better still, because they are a reputable company with a long and illustrious track record you can be assured that they aren't about to mess you around or try to scam you out of you cash!

Registration with the NFO surveys panel requires you to sign up via their website and to then complete the initial demographic profile questionnaire which they will send to you at the email address you registered with...so be sure to supply them with a real one! Trust me, they aren't going to spam you. You must complete this initial survey to be considered a registered member of the site and to begin receiving paying survey invitations and you will be entered into a monthly $500 sweepstake for doing so. The NFO survey company has a very strong privacy policy, they use the demographic information gathered in their profile questionnaire simply to allocate surveys to individuals who match up to their partners' requirements and never sell or pass this information on to other companies. This includes the market research companies who commission to surveys of course, they receive aggregate results for demographic groupings, your personal information is safe at all times and you can opt out at any time and your data will be removed from the database.

You are never obliged to complete an online survey invitation here but if you do then you will earn points which can then be converted to cash or used in a variety of different ways. A single point here is valued at around $0.01 and as you can earn up to 1500 points for a 10-15 minute survey you can see the rewards are rather good. NFO requires a minimum balance of 1000 points before you can cash in your points for cash(sent by check to your registered address) but it's an easy target to reach so don't worry about it being a long slog as with many other 'points programmes' online. Better still, if you have family and friends who you think will be interested in taking part then you can earn 150 points($1.50) for each one who signs up when you invite them along! Do be advised however that only one member per household can be registered under the National Family Opinion panel's terms and conditions so you can't go around referring your husband, kids, lodger etc. for some quick cash!

Points can also be used to buy raffle tickets for a variety of raffle draws held on site if you prefer that and everyone who is a member of the site is automatically entered into a daily prize draw to win $100 each time they log in to the site(one entry per day) and there is another member draw for $10,000 held every couple of months as well! Anyone aged 14 and over from the contigous 48 States is able to sign up and take part in NFO's paid surveys(those below 18 must have parental consent to earn reward points and the sweepstakes are 18+ only) and I would highly recommend that those who are able to take part should do so because it really is easy money.
