MyPointsCash back and online rewardsSite Address: MyPoints MyPoints is an online reward points site similar to the likes of ipoints.co.uk and the now defunct beenz.com. Every time you read an email, join a website or shop through a MyPoints partner site (which you probably use already!) you will earn points which can later be exchanged for offline shopping vouchers and other rewards. More points can be gained through referals and filling out the occassional survey question amongst other things so earning points isn't too much of a problem. Personally, I rarely use the shopping section and still earn enough points each year to cash out a few £10 shopping vouchers for doing virtually nothing. Some of my family members who do more online shopping than me say they earn around £200 in cash back by using the MyPoints portal so its well worth looking into. Anyone can sign up for an account with them as long as they have an email and a home address, then its simply a case of collecting those points! There are numerous opportunities to earn points on the site such as:
Clicking email links: typically 10 points per email I suppose the question which always arises with sites like this is quite simple: "Do They Cough Up?" ...and the answer is in my experience "Yes, and fast as well!" Rewards are either voucher based to spend in offline shops such as Argos, Boots and Woolworths or can be exchanged directly at participating sites online. Unfortunately though there is no cash alternative offered and this doesn't look likely to change in the foreseeable future. There are however a very large number of vouchers you can exchange your points for, from establishments ranging from restaurants to electrical shops so you should have no trouble finding something you can spend you hard earned points upon. The complete list of voucher redemption figures is:
750 points = £5 Its worth checking these out more closely however if you have something specific in mind to spend your points on because you may get it cheaper through a MyPoints partner site, or vice versa - you might as well get the best value for your points! Is it worth your time? Sure! If you don't intend to do much online shopping then the rewards mount up slowly but you will earn a few free £10 vouchers from checking out the offers they send to you. Alternatively if you do get around to doing a lot of online shopping then it certainly is worth having a look at because you can save money at no extra effort. Either way, it's free to join and equally free to quit so there's little to lose but the couple of minutes it takes to sign up! Site Address: MyPoints |
