~ Skool Daze ~

Today's a very special day
mummy says it's true
And though I am excited
I'm a little scared too.

I've been waiting such a long time
for this special day to come
And now it's here I wish I could
just turn away and run!

Mummy says I shouldn't be afraid
for it's like an adventure
With so much to see and do
and no time for missing her.

But I don't know, I'm still scared
what if they don't like me?
But mummy says it'll be alright
and I'll have fun, you'll see.

Oh look! there's Chris and Ellie
from just down the road,
They must be starting today as well
so at least someone I'll know;

And there goes Pete and Frankie
"hey, wait a minute guys!"
Mum, I think I'll be alright
it's time to say goodbye.

Yes, today's a very special day
and it's gonna to be so cool
Mum's right, it's an adventure ~
woohoo! I'm off to school!
