My name is Deanna Lee Chaparro and I am a reporter at the Record-Journal newspaper in Meriden, CT where I cover the school system in Southington. In 2001, I graduated from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT with a degree in English and journalism.
   I'm try to keep busy by reading and listening to music. Right now I'm reading Nick Hornby's How to be Good (About a Boy, which is based on another Hornby book, is v. good, by the way). As for CDs, I currently recommend The Strokes' This It?, The Hives' Veni, Vidi, Vicious, Phantom Planet's The Guest, and Vanessa Carlton which doesn't fit in at all with the previous three but, hell, who wants to be predictable?

  The images on this site are from Sailor Moon, a Japanese anime. I got into Sailor Moon my senior year of high school when I started watching the English-language dub. I never got to see any of the movies until recently when they finally introduced the subtitled versions to the US. Featured throughout the site are the five "inner" scouts
