Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel,
Mend your wings.
Clear your throat
So you can sing.
Don't hide away
Behind a mask.
Lift your eyes
And in sunlight bask.
Dry your tears
And carry on.
Leave the darkness
For the dawn.
Remove from your shoulders
This blanket of gloom.
Don't let your life
This sadness consume.
Fallen Angel,
Unfold your wings.
Take flight and soar
Through my dreams.
A world of magic
Is where you belong;
Within my sleep
You do no wrong.
Guardian Angel,
You are fallen no more.
You've risen to become
The one I adore.
