It's Amazing

It�s amazing how his world stops spinning
When he thinks of her smile,
When her hand brushes his so gently
He can hear angels in the wind.

It�s amazing how his heart beats faster
When she whispers in his ear,
How when she�s near him, every breath he takes
Is quicker than the one before.

It�s amazing how his darkness turns to light
When she walks into the room,
When her laughter rings so softly
Only he can feel it wrap around his mind.

It�s amazing how much he wants her
When he said he�d never love another,
When everyone he�s ever loved has only taken from him
What they could never give.

It�s amazing how much she loves him
When he knows she deserves so much more,
When he looks at her and sees a rose
While he�s the thorn growing in her side.
