Is the Brine Rhinoskin a covenient and safe replacement for standard sholderpads? I say no. I found that they greatly restricted movement. They also absorb every bit of sweat which made them smell like ass.

Hard Mesh:: The best in the game and will be for a while. Its cheap, easy to install, durable, and you can install shooting strings better in mesh than in any other type of stringing. This is why I use mesh and everyone on my team uses mesh except for 4 people.

STX Proton Head:: I just got my hands on this head and it is awesome. It is incredibly light and strong. All in all, I love it. I will write more about it soon, but for now check out the article at e-lacrosse

Is 5 or six diamond mesh better than regular mesh? I say it depends. Definitely do not get monster mesh if you are the faceoff middie. When you pound in your pochet in the opposite direction, it will stay like this and not reverse when you try to pick up the ball! Big Problem. The same could happen at any position, but it is not as likely on defense. Defenders don't seem to care as much about there pocket and this 5 or 6 diamond mesh will let them make a good pocket, and it will stay that way through any condition. However, if you are standing still when your team is in the other end of the field, be sure to make sure that your pocket is not "reversed". Middies and Attack no, defence, yes.

Is the tracker pocket worth the money you have to pay for it? I say no. I have used the tracker pocket a couple of times and to me, it isn't much different than mesh. It has an extremely smooth release when you throw with it, but otherwise, it handles just like mesh but it is much more expensive. For those of you who don't know what the tracker pocket is here is a description: "Trakker pockets are pre-formed by sewing in nylon cross-lace pieces directly into tackified, micro-fiber backed synthetic runners. The Trakker pocket then ties right into the stringing holes in the stick. Since the Trakker Pocket is pre-formed with a precision depth, and the synthetic leather runners do not stretch even when wet, there is very little adjustment required."(from www.debeerlacrosse.com). However, this pocket feels just the same as mesh and it costs a whole heck of a lot more (around $22, mesh kits costs around $13). I do not recommend it.
