| Design Technology has changed rapidy over the last few years and in many ways is unrecognisable compared to a few years ago, gone are the wood working and metal work classes lathes etc and an integrated approach is used,using computer aided design and high tech machinery. it still produces some of the highest grades in schools in the UK and students thrive on the subject. \Design technology is seperated into 5 major areas but not all need to be covered for the igcse or IB. |

| an international school may choose to cover all or just one subject to fulfil the curriculum for the IGCSE and most subjects can be combined and taught in one area.the theory aspect covers all design technology whilst the practical side can vary. I will show ways that DT can be introduced into the school with a minimal cost and a maximum output for school and students. |
