THE REAL MELCHIZEDEK, PART SIX

Not only were the angels not Cupid-like creatures, history records the angels in any form to all be men. I have been unable thus far to find a Biblical record (or otherwise) of any female messengers of God in this capacity except one, King Saul's daughter Michal, whom David married. However, women messengers of God exist to this day, in plentitude. I have read about them in the modern-day Melchizedek priesthood. All ancient documents say that men could be appointed to the office of angel by inheritance. These were either written or edited by patriarchal societies who are famous for disinheriting women. The mention of King Saul's daughter is a hint for us to explore further.

In the New Testament, Jesus' genealogy is recited several times. In every single recitation, it is obvious that Adam was the first man of the Messianic bloodline. He was not, as many believe, the first human male on the face of the earth. If this was so, Cain would not have needed a mark on his forehead after he killed Abel to protect him, nor would he have been able to find a wife in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Since Adam was the progenitor of the blood royal, later to be known as the Davidic succession, it stands to reason that there were people around him to assist and protect him, just as they existed at the Qumran community many thousands of years later, as documented in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Enoch had to have had a frame of reference from which to write his angelic and priestly structures, so that the tradition would be maintained.

One of Enoch's requirements was that successive dynastic leaders of the Zadokite, not Levite, priestly line, would bear the names of the original angels and archangels to denote their levels of authority. I am sure that Enoch did not pull this specification from out of the air. There must have been an historical basis for this requirement, since the Melchizedek of Abram's day preceded Enoch.

In the days of David's rule, the highest ranking priests were Zadok, Abiathar, and Levi, in order of importance. The Zadok and the Abiathar are not mentioned in the Book of Leviticus; however, this leads one to believe erroneously that Aaron's descendants are of the highest priestly level through right of inheritance. The fact is that Aaron's bloodline was not and is still not the most senior level of the angelic-priestly chain of command.

Hence, since Enoch was the sixth patriarch in from Adam, he was of the Messianic bloodline himself, and possibly of the priestly Zadokite line as well. Either way, Enoch had every right to issue an edict stating how the priesthood would be run, and had that same right to expect that the preservation of this rich heritage would be obeyed straight on down through the millenia to the Essenes at Qumran and beyond. Since Enoch possessed a wealth of esoteric knowledge, it is more likely that he was a priest-king at the minimum, and more than likely, the "Father" of the dynasties of his era, earning him the title of Patriarch, which qualified him to make these bold assertions.

According to Enoch's edicts, the senior priests were to continue to be known as angel-priests, and they were identified as follows: the Michael-Zadok, or Melchizedek, the Gabriel-Abiathar (the very same one who dealt with Mary and Joseph about the circumstances surrounding Jesus' conception), and the Sariel-Levi.

Therefore, it makes sense that based on the current events at the time the Book of Revelation was written, that Michael's fight with the dragon represents the problems between the Zadokite succession and "the beast of blasphemy," the Roman Empire. The narrow-minded and short-sighted Pharisees collectively are the "second beast," who actively worked against everything that Jesus had been trying to accomplish, mainly, the unification of all peoples living in the Holy Land against the common enemy, Rome.
