Art is probably my favorite class, wait, of course it is! My teacher is Larry Alberts.  He's a short guys with grey hair who's really pysco and loud. Not to mention funny.

Description of the class:
There's a bunch of wooden tables with cabinets underthem where we keep out work and use for working on.  hehe.  The radio plays loudly and you can never get through a class with out someone yelling out about the music, good or bad, Larry or not, and often un-seriouse arguements.  There's magazines and photo books every where for tearing out pictures for our projects. Every one sits on tall metal stools which arn't very comfortable.  The wooden tables are covered in paint and penceil and pen.  In the corner canvas paintings sit on their eisles.  The walls are covered in pictures and photots of varius projects and odds and ends, we have the twin wall and the celebrity wall and the weird story wall and the wall of fame for peopl in the paper.  *sigh*
Past works
At the beginning of the year we did sketching, you know with pencil.  first we did varius exercises for shading ex.  then we did still lifes.  We just drew something that didn't move.  Next we did portraits.  first I did one of a blonde girl smelling a flower and then a picture of the Afgan girl from national geographic.

Next we started on pattern pen and inks.  For those who dont know a pen and ink is a picture made with a special pen which you dip into a bottle of black ink and write with.  I first did a wonderful one (sorry but I HAVE to complement myself on this) of a frog jumping into a pond. It came out exactly the way I wanted it too!  Then, since I had extra time before we moved on,  I also did one of a jogger in front of the statue of liberty and one of dolphins. (I didn't really like the dolphin one)

After that we moved on to colors.  We painted shapes and patterns practicing using colors on the color wheel and how the are related.
What were doing now
Now, in the beginning of the second semester,We are doing another pen and ink project, only this time its a DOT pen and ink.  instead of using patterns we use dots and lines for the WHOLE THING.   the picture I chose was one I've had for a long time and love.  It's from one of may old magazines.  they had a page on how dolphins help mentally or physically challenged, or sick (like with cancer or something) develope both self esteem and confidence AND helping them  move better by using their muscles in the water.  they had a picture of a girl kissing a dolphin and the girl looked like the sweetest person in the world.  So I chose that for my pen and ink.
Art
Soon I will be able to post my own pictures of what I've done
