Reflection on Growth During Tenth Grade English Class

This year in Mr. Domingo tenth grade English class I feel that I have grown a lot. My writing style has improved and so has my grammar. Of course, my grammar still isnt all that great, but it is better than my grammar last year. I have also learned a lot about different sorts of papers. This knowledge has helped me to develop my writing skills.

Writing different sorts of papers, such as a multi-stepped research paper, a researched persuasive essay, a biographical narrative, and an essay analyzing a short story has really opened my eyes to the English language. My ability to write has grown very much and I enjoy knowing that. Also, learning to write researched papers has helped me grow as a writer. I feel that in the future I will be well-equipped to write anything that is assigned to me.

Throughout all my papers I have yet to get a perfect grammar score, but I still feel that I have grown in that area. I am not yet perfect when it comes to grammar, but I know that I am a lot better at it now than I was last year. I believe that next year, my grammar skills will improve so much that I will be able to write an English paper and get a perfect grammar score. The fact that I now know a lot more about grammar is due to Mr. Domingo and all his grammar worksheets. Thank you Mr. Domingo for giving me hours of grammar work to do. I have truly grown from it.

Sophomore year in Mr. Domingos class has been such a joy that it almost brings tears to my eyes. The memories I have made in that class will be in my heart forever. Mr. Domingo has helped me develop my writing skills so much that I feel that I can go forward confidently in the writing world. I am so confident that I believe I can cross any obstacle that the English language could possibly throw in front of me. My writing skills have really improved this year. I can now weave my essays so that it is not so structured as well as write a very structured essay, whichever one the teacher desires. I have truly matured this year in Mr. Domingos English class, even if I didnt get the extra credit for it and next years class will. I am not bitter. Im just glad that I learned so much.
