The above essay is a persuasive essay . The prompt was to write a multi-paragraphed essay about an issue that I have a strong opinion about and I was to give evidence about why my opinion was correct. And with these pieces of evidence I was supposed to convince others to agree with my opinion.
I believe that the strong point of this essay is my writing style. I am pretty good with words and that is pretty useful in a persuasive essay. I also fulfilled all the criteria for this essay except for a few things. These things were that I needed at least two pieces of evidence to support each reason and my grammar. The reason why I didn�t fulfill these two requirements was because I had left my essay sort of last minute so I couldn�t find evidence in time, and that I�ve always been bad at grammar. But I rewrote the essay for extra points later and with the help of Laura Nolan I found more evidence, and because Mr. Domingo pointed out all my grammar mistakes I managed to fix those. One thing new with this essay that I did was that I actually wrote about something I cared about. I feel strongly about how we at the Eastlake community need a bookstore in order to feed our literary hunger, so it was fun to write about it. All the essays written before this one were written about subjects assigned to me and were not subjects that I am interested in, so it was nice to finally be able to write freely about something I care about.
