| Sign-up for a Briefcase at Yahoo. If you already have a Yahoo ID you can use this same account. Everyone will make a subdirectory or folder called Introduction to Computers. All of the assignments you complete this year will go into that folder. | 10 points |
| Get an interent sticker on the back of your ID. If you need the sticker, go to the Drop-off/Pick-up Window in the Zone and you will see a brochure holder with the Internet Permission Form. Get this form, read it, fill it out, sign it, have your parents sign it and then return it to the drop-off/pick-up window. the person working that window will place the sticker on the back of your ID. Give me your ID and I will give you puts - and give you your ID back! | 10 points |

The other financial spreadsheeet will be an income statement, which shows how much money you did earn and what you spent your money on. The budget is a plan, the income statement is fact. | The final should be of no surprise to you. You will show me competency in all of the new skills you have gained or improved over this semester. If you completed all of the assignments above, I am cinfident you are capable of easily completing these tasks aked of you during theh final. You will have to write a letter to me stating your briefcase ID and password. In the letter you will reflect on what you were assigned, what you completed and what you learned from each set of assignments (eg: excel, keyboarding, powerpoint, etc.). The second part of the final you will be asked to create a spreadsheet and make some column headings, sort some date, calculate some data and create a chart. You will have to create a PowerPoint on a topic I give you. This task will also assess your internet research skills. Lastly, you will be given a sheet of paper to type into Word as an assement of your keyboarding skills. These four documents will be uploaded to your briefcase and I will grade it from there. | |
