| SPIDER WATCH!!! | ||||||||
| In this journal, I, Lauren Smith, will attempt to log, describe, and identify and and all spider found in my house by my housemates or myself. Read the account of the event that started it all | ||||||||
| September 14, 2003-- Very large spider (3 in diameter, including leg span), hairy, thick spider found in my bathroom by me at 5am.Body 3/4 inch long, 1/4 inch wide. Legs each 1 1/2 inch long. Very scary. Killed by Lauren with paper towel. Flushed down toilet. Later identified to be wolf spider. September 16th-- Danica reportedly observed and killed 3 small spiders. Location, description, means of death and disposal unavailable. September 17, 2003-- Small but thick brown and maroon spider (1/2 inch in diameter) found by me crawling on the mail as I took it out of the mailbox. Shook on ground, and squished with my tan and irredescent flip flop (right foot). Still unidentified. |
