Born under Communist rule in Romania, Lauren was singing and acting along with a group of traveling troubadours in musicals and dramatic performances before she was ten.

Her outstanding performance in such works as, “Pygmalion”, “The Sound of Music”, “West Side Story” and “42nd Street” won her rave acclaim from her teachers and peers.

It didn’t take long for her to snatch the leading role in several Off-Broadway productions including Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl” and Rose in “Bleacher Bums”. It was during these performance that the striking dark haired beauty caught the attention of a network producer who immediately cast her in the role of Athena Burks on the ABC Soap “All My Children”.

But ultimately it was the lure of the big screen and Hollywood that beckoned the talented Romanian actress to the west coast to make her dream of acting in film become a reality.

Signing with one of L.A.’s top theatrical agencies shortly after her arrival, she wasted no time in landing a variety of TV and film roles including speaking roles in “S^ex and the City”, The Division”, Jag” and “Tuesday Night Book Club”.

Lauren is currently living in both Chicago and Los Angeles where she is exploring film, TV, and still modeling.
