Voltes V Voltron (nice horns... teehee teehee...)

The Earth is in danger. Aliens from planet Boazan attempt to launch their attack upon earth in order to enslave every human, because of their less noble status, humans don't have horns on their heads. On Boazan, people who don't have horns are treated as slaves while the horned ones rule. Lead by Haniel, Boazon's king, the Boanzans attack earth with their UFOs and battlebots. Meanwhile, on a small island called Big Falcon Island, 5 teenagers trained to pilot 5 special jetplanes which can be combined into a robot fighter prepare to fight the aliens off.

Kentaro Gou
Father of Kenichi, Daiziro, and Hiyoshi. He's originally from Boazan, and on earth he create Voltes V, Big Falcon and the North Pole Laboratory.
Mitsuyo Gou
Kentaro's wife.
Kenichi Gou
The oldest among the three Gou brothers. Expert in firearms; pilots the first jetplane, Volt Cruiser. Ippei Mine
A cowboy; pilots the second jetplane, Volt Bomber.
Daijiro Gou
Kenichi's brother. Expert in martial arts; pilots the third jetplane, Volt Panzer.
Hiyoshi Gou
Kenichi's little brother. Has some talent in diving and underwater exploring; pilots the fouth jetplane, Volt Frigate.
Megumi Oka
Daugther of General Oka. Being the only female member of The Voltes V team, she has ninja ability. She pilots the fifth jet, Volt Lander. Megumi eventually finds a ring and puts it on. It turns out that the ring was actually an enemy robot. It possessed Megumi's mind and turned her evil.
Professor Hamaguchi
Professor Hamaguchi and Professor Gou worked together designing the Voltes V robot. Later, Professor Hamaguchi is killed when trying to save Voltes V, because the Boazans found their weakness.
General Oka
Megumi's father. He was killed when trying to save Megumi.
Professor Sakonji
He took over Hamaguchi's place after his death. He trains the Voltes V crew hard, and adds one more weapon on Voltes V. However the weapon is a failure until a mysterious red eagle plane, piloted by General Danbei, sends a full Voltes V blueprint. After some adjustment, the weapon is ready and successful.

All in all, I think this series sounds the most silly out of the "Voltron Series". The whole things with horns just makes me want to laugh. This is a series I would like to see just to know what the hell the writers were thinking ;D
