SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

Oct. 5 - 19, 2005

So, I went back to San Diego in early October.  I had many reasons for doing so.  I wanted to see my family and my friends again, I missed my hometown, and I needed to take care of a few things.

I spent a lot of time there with my family, which was all good.  I did get to see a few friends while I was there.  I also took in the scenery, and some of the sites I haven't had the chance to enjoy in many years.

I ventured down to Balboa Park, and took some pictures of the buildings, plants, and various other things Balboa Park has to offer.  I also went to the Ocean Beach pier.  The OB Pier is the longest pier on the west coast, measuring at 1,971 feet long, and is also said to be the longest concrete pier in the world.  Don't worry, pictures are to come.

The background image on this page is a shot of the sunset from the OB Pier.  The images get better as the sun went down.

I started this page sometime after I got back from my trip, and I no longer know what it is I was going to write here.  So, I'm just going to create a few pages with pictures from Balboa Park and the OB Pier.

I'm still working on this page, so come back often, and one day soon, I'll have it finished.
