Josh's latest thing is an interest in things. For a while now he's reached for a toy if you held it in front of him, but now he's actively seeking toys -- rolling halfway over to seek, reach out toward, and acquire anything that interests him. I planned a little experiment in which I would repeatedly hold up two plastic rings (gifts from his cousin Simon) to see if he'd consistently go for one over the other, independently of which hand he needed to use, or whether he'd get bored of one, etc. The results: when presented
with the choice of one or the other, he consistently reached for both. Ah greed, you didn't die with the Eighties. |
