HEIGHT:The height of the Tower is 333 Mts. tall. Since the opening of the Tower in 1958, the tower has been the world's highest self supporting iron tower. The Eiffel tower stands 320 Mts. tall.
WEIGHT
Tokyo Tower weighs 4,000
tons. It is much lighter than the Eiffel
tower, which weighs 7,000 tons, a result of the remarkable advancement
of steel manufacturing and construction technology.
PAINT
The paint used for the tower is
28,000
liters (140 drums). It is painted in white
and orange according to the aviation safety regulations.
BROADCAST SIGNALS
There are 14
broadcast signals for five FM radio stations
and nine TV stations, these signals are transmitted from the tower.
LIGHTS
The main attraction of the tower
is the night time view, the lights. The tower is lit up in the night sky
with 164 flood lights
installed on every part of the tower. The tower is illuminated with orange
light in winter and white incandescent light in summer.
There are 2 observatory floor for the visitors to view tokyo from certain height. The first observatory floor is at 150 Mts. high and the second observatory floor(Special ) is at 250 Mts. high. From the first observatory floor you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the whole Kanto region beyond the city Tokyo. You can also take a break at the Tea Rooms and enjoy shopping at that height. While from the second observatory floor, which is the top floor of the tower, one cannot go beyond this floor, you can see Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tsukuba. At night you can enjoy a breathtaking view of brilliant neon city lights, Tokyo.

I FLOOR
The main attraction on this floor
is the Tokyo Tower Aquarium. Japan's foremost aquarium with a collection
of 50,000 fish of about 800 variety.
There are counters for Observatory
tickets, Restaurants, Tea Rooms, Souvenir Shops.
II FLOOR
This floor is for shopping, you
can find all kinds of Tokyo souvenirs at the famous stores, and can also
enjoy various delicious Japanese dishes. There is also a game center for
children as well as adults.
III FLOOR
Here on this floor there is Tokyo
Tower Carnival, Wax Museum. There are many interesting wax figures of the
world famous personalities and stars. You can also find marvelous
3 dimensional world created by hologram technology. Those who want more
thrill and adventure in life there is Mysterious walking zone.
IV FLOOR
On this floor you can find
Tokyo Tower Art Gallery. You can enjoy the original funny tricks of 3-D
pictures painted with special paints. This floor is also for Government
Information and Display Center. Here the current affairs and events of
Japan are demonstrated with videos, models and panel displays.
Tokyo tower is open for the visitors round the year. Tokyo Tower is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.
