- In some parts of Asia it is believed that if
you are afraid of cats, you were a rat in
your last incarnation. - In other parts of the world, having a once
stray cat in your home is a sign of financial
improvement soon to follow. - To dream of a cat, especially if chasing
a mouse,is to envision the conquest of
good over evil.
While all these examples of cat lore are interesting, the fact is owning a cat benefits your health. Even patients with Alzheimer's disease show increased short-term memory, improved speech and knowledge of concepts when a cat joins them.
Pet owners experience fewer physical problems and visit doctors less often than those without pets. They also have lowerblood pressure.
There is never a charge to adopt a Last Post pet,
