First you should go get a party to accompany you. I would pick a Soldier, Priest and a Wizard, and I would make sure one of them is a female for later in the game. believe me you will be really freakin mad if you don't.
Next you should set out to find the Theive's key, but talk to everyone you meet as like every RPG. And always remember that people may change there message after dark.
The Magic Ball
The Magic ball acts as a key to open doors. in order to obtain it you have to go to Reeve and use the Theives key to find the man who can make it. Use the Magic Ball in the Cave of Enticement.
Before going out and questing wounder around before a bit and level up.
for example go to a place a step ahead of where you are now a fight those mosters this makes the game alot easier.you should also do this in other parts of the game
Don't level up with out your company, keep anyone around the same level this also makes the game easier. example if one of your members dead go back to a church a revive him A.S.A.P.
For Linbo spell victims come back to Alihan to get them A.S,A.P.

Some really mean elves casted a sleeping spell Noaniels, which means you have to wake them. In order to do this you have to get The Wake up Powder from the elves But they hate humans and won't give the stuff to you unless you fetch The Dream Ruby in the well guarded cave to the west.
Cave hints
Use the healing spring in the second basement to restore your have if you are about to die.

To get this cool thing return to Kanave at and go thorugh the Item shop's rear exit just open both crests if i remember right the of the chest is a herb.
Romaly king king doesn't think you are a hero at all(yeah right!). So he has send you to go chase the thief Kandar, who stole his crown. He is at the top of the Tower of Shanpane. after you beat him, he will flee and leave behind a chest with the crown in it.
Hints
Dont go and try to fight him or even go to the tower until you have gotten to at least 14.
To make this fight easier on you, put Kandar to sleppy sleep and kill off his hetchman.
After you return to the king(with the crown) he will not let you refuse from being crownee king so just go along with it. After you become king if you want to to can walk around talking to everyone or just go to the fighting ring and go up to the former king and tell him you don't wanna be king.
