Captain Blood's Cove-- There's an entrance page that you've got to scroll down through and then you've got to click "enter", but when you're finally into it, it's worth it. The site is very easy on the eyes and very interesting to wander through. In fact, I think I'll go spend some more time there right now...
Pirates: Everything That You Never Knew, But Needed to Know-- It's not as graphically impressive as the other two but there's some good information and even some things about The Flying Dutchman.
International Talk Like A Pirate Day-- Greatest little-known holiday on the planet. I've got friends who wait all year for it. Scroll down the map page and there's a link at the bottom that says "All abandon hope, ye who ENTER here". Just click on it and you'll get info on Talk Like A Pirate Day and even get a lesson on the pirate lingo if you want it. I think there are also some forums on there somewhere, but I've never been on them so I'm not 100% certain. It's a good site.
The Pirate King-- A marine archaeologist. There's all kinds of stuff dealing with sea legend and lore on there. A very worthwhile stop. I love it majorly.
Just a warning: There IS a little bit of "non-appropriate" language.
Adventure Game Studio-- (AGS) I'm addicted to this place. It's an engine that you can download to build your own point-and-click adventure games. There's a link where you can dowload games made by people, ages 8-90, who just want to have fun and play adventure games. The games are free and the engine is free and the people in the community are terrific...usually (they have their moments like everyone else). I've been going here for almost two years now so, yeah, in my opinion it's a very worth-while site.
Crystalinks Directory-- A page with links to everywhere imaginable. There are a lot of sites here dedicated to ancient people and ancient cultures. There's even a list of famous alchemists from different eras. If you've got the patience to scroll, you'll find there are some very interesting things in there.
Torvus Futurus-- A place full of political views that you may or may not agree with. Join the forums and argue your point or agree with his. It's still growing but I'm sure it's going to be a place where everyone can go to get an opinion off their chest that's just been bothering them and they just can't seem to find someone else to understand. Visit.
Josh Groban-- A very interesting musical talent. He's mostly Christian music but his voice is phenomenal.
