   The five girls came out of the beauty salon almost unrecogniseable. There new hair styles and images made them more confident. Especially Lara she felt almost over Tom. Her mobile phone rang as they walked outside the mall to feel the fresh air breezing gentle through there hair. "Hello, Nick hi how are you? im feeling much better, yes, I had a make over in the beauty salon, oh yes it was the girls idea!" Lara giggled. "Err over to Bri's house? yeah right! does Leigh know?" Lara asked looking over to Leigh who didn't have a clue about what Brian and Nick had arranged. "Well I suppose, well see you soon then ok! yes you will be able to recognise us, well maybe not me but the others you will, ok then, bye" Lara laughed to herself.. "So what has Brian planned?" Leigh questioned straight away. "Oh Nick recons him and Brian have cooked dinner for all of us, I don't believe him for one minute but he still said for you to drive us home with you" Lara smiled. "Oh well this should be interesting!" Leigh said as they all got into her car.
     As they stepped out of Leighs car they waited to see what was lying ahead of them. Leigh had told the girls how other cooking experiences of Brian and Nicks turned into a month of scrubbing the burnt food out of the pans. As Nick opened the the front door as he saw the girls coming down the drive. He noticed all the girls new styles and smiled. "Gem is it me or is Nick looking a BABE tonight!" Tanya said as she saw Nick smile. "Believe me it's definately not just you" Gem said as she waved over to Nick.
    The girls walked into the house to see everything looking good and the food actually smelt nice and not burnt. The five girls looked at each other when they saw the table neatly decorated aa brian brought in the hot plates and put them into the centre of the table. The girls sat down as Brian ans Nick watched there faces. "dig in girls you know you want to" Brian smiled as he sat down. The girls gave each other amazed looks as theystarted to eat there chinese food.
    "You two that dinner was amazing how long did it take you to cook everything?" Lara asked as she finished her plate. "Err about two hours or so" Nick said. "If I hadn't known I would have thought you went down the chinese shop and brought it all" Gabs said as she struggled to eat another bite. Leigh sussed out why the food tasted so good and was not actually burnt. ""THats because they did get it from the chinese shop" Leigh said getting up off her seat and entering the kitchen. She looked at the spotless kitchen and then rummaged through the bin. She saw chinese takeaway tins in it. Everyone had followed her in there. Gem had her arm around Nick "Nicky im afraid we know your little secret" Gemma laughed. "righty oh anyways it was a lovely takeaway but we must go home now" Lara said as she breathed in deeply. "I'll call a taxi" Tanya said as she got her mobile out. Nick took the phone from her hand "Don't worry I will drive you home" Nick said as Tanya put her phone back in her bag. "Ok then" Gabs answered for them all. They all said goodbye to Leigh andBrian and went into Nicks car. "Who's sitting in the front?" nick asked as heopened the door. "I will" Gemma said as she got in the front. It was obvious to the others that Gemma really liked Nick.
    The girls thanked Nick for the lift home and went into the house and found the lights on. "Lara whats going on im sure we turned the lights off!" Gabs said worried the girls linked arms as Lara opened the door. They found tom sitting there eating a bag of crisps watching the telelvision. "What the fuck are you doing in my house? get out!" Lara screamed. Tom looked up at Lara who looked as though she was about to cry. "No! see thats were your wrong! this isn't your house at all in fact I paid for it and I intend on living here"" Tom said as he ate more crisps. "You ass hole! you can't do that" Tanya yelled at the top of her voice. "Yes I can" Tom added. Tanya looked at Lara's face as a stray tear ran down her cheek Lara nodded. "Look girls why don't you go out for half an hour I think me and tom need to talk alone" Lara said as the girls refused. "no way were not leaving you two alone" Tanya said putting an arm around her. "It's ok nothing gonna happen I just need some explainations" Lara said as she opened the door for them. "Come on, we will be back in half an hour and thats it" Gemma said as the other girls followed her. As the door shut Lara turned to look Tom in the eye. "So ....." Lara started.
