SCHOOL POLICY

(Article III)

Section 1

All students who are officially enrolled at Lapinigan National High School are bona fide members and are subject to follow the ruled and regulations set by the school.

Section 2

All registered and bona fide students of Lapinigan National High School must wear their complete uniform with ID during school days except Wednesday, which is wash day. Student must wear decent attire during wash day. Short pants, porontong, and sleeveless are not allowed. Students who could not wear uniform and ID should not be allowed to enter the school campus. First and second offense will be punished by the teacher-adviser repeat performance will be sent to the principal or Guidance Counselor for disciplinary action..

Section 3

All registered and bona fide students of Lapinigan National High School ae required to attend Flag Ceremony and report in class on time, especially after recess, and on during the first period in the afternoon. Students are expected to report five (5) minutes before the official time set for flag ceremony, recess, and first period morning and afternoon. Erring students to this offense will report to designated teachers by year level for the three times. Fourth offense will bring their parents to the Principal or Guidance Counselor and be subjected for disciplinary action.

Section 4

Students who will be absent from classes will secure a written letter of consideration from their parents stating the reason for such an absence. Committing such offense for the first and second time will be given appropriate action by their teacher-adviser, for the third offense, students shall be required to bring their parents in the school for admission. Next offense shall be endorsed to SSA Coordinator.

Section 5

Cutting classes id strictly prohibited. Any students found cutting classes for the first and second offense shall be given appropriate action by the teacher-adviser. For the third offense, they are required to bring their parents for admission. For the succeeding offense, they will be subjected to suspension.

Section 6

Any student who has been ill for three (3) days shall present a Doctor’s Certificate and bring his/her parents before seeking admission.

Section 7

A student who has been physical defects or is incapable to undergo strenuous activities shall present medical certificate to be exempted from PMT or PEHM.

SCHOOL DISCIPLINE

(Article IV)

Section 1

Vandalism of any kind such destroying school properties like books, forms, teaching devices, blackboards, and government properties, and other related cases to vandalism must replace or pay or repair the destroyed government property.

Section 2

Proper garbage disposal shall be strictly observed. Any violation is subject to appropriate disciplinary action.

Section 3

Loitering around the school campus during class hours is strictly prohibited. Erring students shall be brought to the Principal or Guidance Counselor by the school guard.

Section 4

Any student caught stealing or hiding somebody’s property like books, money, pens, notebooks, bags, baon or provision etc. shall be subjected for suspension for three (3) days. Three times suspension for the same offense will be advised to transfer.

Section5

Wearing earrings for male students is strictly prohibited. Any male student caught wearing earrings for the first time – confiscate and deposit to the Guidance Office. On the second offense, the student will be brought to the Guidance Counselor. Repeated offense will be subject for suspension.

Section 6

Jumping over or passing under the fence is strictly prohibited. Anybody caught for the first and second offense shall be subjected to disciplinary action by the adviser. Succeeding offense will be brought to the Principal or Guidance Counselor for disciplinary action.

Section 7

Forgiving or tampering somebody’s signature is strictly prohibited. Anybody proven doing so will be suspended for three (3) days. Repeat violation shall be advised to transfer.

Section 8

Students shall demonstrate respect, courtesy and obedience to all teachers. Demonstration of disrespect or misconduct to teachers shall be subjected to disciplinary action or advised to transfer.

Section 9

Harassing and / or threatening students and teachers are strictly prohibited. Any student caught doing so will be automatically advised to transfer..

Section 10

Smoking or drinking intoxicating liquors within the school premises (Sec. 55 of the service manual) is prohibited. Any student caught attending classes or loitering around the school premises under the influence of liquor will be suspended for three (3) days. Any student who repeat to commit this misconduct will be advised to transfer. Brgy. Ordinance will be observed. If students will commit the same offense outside the school during class hours.

Section 11

Using and bringing prohibited drugs inside the campus are strictly prohibited. Any student caught smoking or using and bringing drugs will be turned over to proper authority and be punished according to the provision of the Dangerous Drugs Act and other applicable laws subject to due process of law.

Section 12

Fighting in any form with fellow students inside the school campus or within 50-meters radius from the school will be subjected to suspension for three (3) days or advised to transfer depending upon the gravity of the case. Repeat offense in time of his stay in the school will be given weigh and given appropriate disciplinary action.

Section 13

Gambling in any form inside the school campus is strictly prohibited. Any student caught will be given disciplinary action.

Section 14

Bringing deadly weapons of any form inside campus or within the school premises is strictly prohibited. Students caught bringing deadly weapons will be given appropriate disciplinary action with the presence of his/ her parents/ guardians except if required by the school teachers/ adviser.

Section 15

Organization of gangs, sororities and fraternities or membership of any of these is strictly prohibited (DECS Order No.20, s. 1991). Any student caught or proven shall be advised to transfer.

Section 16

Treachery in any form of strategy which shall inflict physical or mental damage or distress to any of the student shall be dealt with a punishment of expulsion of proven guilty of subject for suspension depending on the seriousness of the case.

Section 17

Section 17 Sexual abuse or misconduct or harassment in the classroom or in the school campus is strictly prohibited. Applicable laws shall be effected with due to any violent of this rule.

Section 18

Section 18 Physical injuries, in any form caused by any student, accidental or intentional, expenses for medical assistance shall be shouldered by the student who caused such injury.

Section 19

Using Cell phones/ MPs during classes hours and charging batteries in the school are strictly prohibited. Any student caught will be subjected to explain in the office of the Guidance Counselor. Repeated offense will mean disciplinary action.
