Ideally situated for fishing at one of the many nearby lakes, to catch that elusive large carp, catfish, bream etc, the property also has the fishing rights to the river which flows at the edge of the grounds, (may be of interest to those who like to drop a rod), and as guests of La Pillerie you have the permission to fish this river (but a licence will still be needed).
The village facilities of Erce en Lamee, are just a few minutes away, and approximately 3-5 minutes drive way is the village of Teillaye. Bain de Bretagne is a short drive away with its many facilities including a lake you can boat on. The historical market town of Chateaubriant is around 15 -20 minutes drive.
