  • Phoning home: the number to dial for the UK from Spain is 0044 followed by the UK number minus the first zero.
  • Calls abroad can be made from boxes marked 'INTERNACIONAL'. Very few Spanish phone boxes will accept incoming calls.
  • To make a reverse charge call (cobro revertido) go to a Telef㮩?a. Some hotels will arrange them but they are more expensive.
  • The number for Spain from the UK is 0034.
