  • Opening hours in the major cities are 9am to 8pm at the main post office
    and 8am to noon; 5pm to 7.30pm at the branch offices. Saturday is a half day.
  • Post boxes are yellow.
  • Put your overseas mail in the opening marked 'PROVINCIAS Y EXTRANJERO'.
  • In Spain, it is best to buy stamps (sellos) at a tobacconist's.
