| January 9, 2005 - Weddings are my favorite event to attend in the Philippines (or anywhere). It is even more fun when the bride is your friend and fellow Peace Corps volunteer. My friend April, the beautiful bride to your left, was married in Cebu to Leovi (a Filipino) yesterday. It was a big celebration and a lucky group of us (picture below) was able to attend her wedding. In the picture below, the third person from the left is the father of the second person from the left. (did you follow that?) Kristin's father came out to visit and help celebrate her brithday. Kristin ended up treating us all to dinner. It is a little more expensive for birthday celebrants here in the Philippines. |
