Langtechindustries-"Making life easier"
Langtechindustries started small in the nineteen eighties in a rural New Hampshire town. The Langs were a family of mechanics and critical thinkers running a small repair shop. The family enjoyed finding solutions to problems, especially problems that effected everyone. The Langs developed their first product in the mid eighty's while working on customers 18-wheelers.The fabricated a tool for assisting in brake jobs for drum style breaks. This tool provided mechanical advantage to the tension spring that holds the brake shoes together. They fabricated several other tools to assist in repairs around the shop.
After failling to find a buyer for production the Langs turned to a different market and developed a type of outdoor firepit that
left nearly no ashes and was easily portable. Also at this time the family began experiementing with metal artwork
and created some intricate pieces of artwork. The combined funds generated by sales of the firepit and artwork was
enough to fund the beginnings of Langtechindustries.
Following the launch of their first products, the Langtechindustris looked to new horizons and started a R&D department to look to the future.
Their first new product from the new R&D took the world by storm, combining the simplicity of a flashlight with the
technology to hover. The Hoverlight was a widely used product by the trades and was picked up by the military.
Being able to give a tool back to fellow mechanics,tradesmen, and now the military was worth all the effort
, Timothy Lang.
Langtechindustries attempted to create a new division specifically focused on tools and trades called Find-it and Fix-it. However, they were never able to acheive the greatness of the Hoverlight in the tooling world. Langtechindustries decided to close that company in 2018 and focus on the market of home buyers and general consumers.
Celebrating their fortieth year in 2025 Langtechindustries continues to be a household name in consumer product design and household solutions.
