The Final Reunion/Chapter 3

Chapter 3-

�No John, the Lakers are going to win! They are up by enough points, they are going to the play offs this year!�

Stacey says before she takes a sip of her Pepsi. She�s crowded around by her friends.

�Come on Stace, just have one drink! Its on me.�

Stacey rolls her eyes.

�No, you know I haven�t had a drink for ever. You know what happens to me when I drink. So leave me be about it.�

Stacy turns around from her friend to get up and walk away when she runs into someone. She falls to the floor. She looks up when she see�s a hand in her view. She grabs it and helps the man pull her up. See smiles when she see�s Landon standing there.

�How nice, you find me, and then you knock me down. Next time I�ll get you.�

She says joking. She sits back down on the seat. She stares at Landon. She thinks to her self �dang, he looks better with out his soccer stuff on� He says something but she was to busy checkin him out.

�I�m sorry what�d you say? I was a tad distracted.�

�Oh, that�s ok. I was asking if you wanted to go sit at that booth over there, so we could get to know each other better?�

He asks with a smile on his face.

�Yes of course lets go.�

They walk over to the booth and sit down. They start talking and having a great time. About 15 minutes have gone by, they�ve had a few drinks, well Landon has. When one of Landon�s friends come over.

�Hey Landon, were going to go, are you coming or what?�

Stacey looks at Landon as Landon looks back at her. Before Landon can speak Stacey speaks out.

�If you want, you can stay at my house tonight, and I can get you home some time tomorrow.�

Landon looks back at his friend.

�Ya I�ll stay with her tonight. I�ll see all of you tomorrow alright. Bye�

Landon smiles.

�So, it is getting kinda late��

�Ya, maybe we should get to my house. We can just chill there.�

�Fine with me. Who�s driving? Me or you?�

Stacey laughs.

�Neither. I got a personal driver.�

�Ahh, I see. I�m sorry. I�m not as special as you remember.�
