Community Service Events

The Eli P. Landers Camp has in the past and continues to perform the following community service functions....

• Conduct Civil War day camps for children.

• Actively participates in numerous different heritage celebrations, festivals, parades, and family reunions.

• Mark the graves of Confederate soldiers.

• Conduct Civil War encampments and black powder firing demonstrations.

• Arrange scholarly presentations by noted Civil War historians at its monthly meetings.

• Provide speakers to Gwinnett County and other Atlanta area public schools.

• Assist other community groups with a wide range of other important historical projects and civic events.
