The George Hotel in the centre of Whitby can accommodate a large group booking on the above dates in 4 twin bedded and 6 double en-suite rooms and 2 family rooms which can take either 3 or 4 guests. Prices are £35 per person per night when 2 or more people are sharing a room or £45 pppn for single occupancy. This is for bed and full English breakfast. A £10 deposit per person is required.

I have booked a 24-seat mini-coach from Whitby to take us up the coast to Staithes so that we could walk back to Whitby on the Cleveland Way which is 11 ½ miles. We could possibly do a shorter walk on the Sunday morning. There are also the delights of Whitby to take in.

I have made a firm booking for 6 double rooms and 3 twin-bedded rooms for the 18 who have made a positive response. Accommodation at The George is now limited but it may be possible to book more rooms.
