Mardi Gras 2002
This was myself and Lorne's first time in New Orleans. We traveled to New Oreleans via Interstate 10 from Houston. We had an excellent trip! Most of the streets were very busy due to all the Mardi Gras festivities. We spent most of our time in the quieter areas exploring the architecture, art shops, history and culture. I especially enjoyed all the art the city had to offer.
We also spent a lot of time watching the parades on Canal Street and all the extravagance invovled. It was amazing to see all the detailed floats and costumes. Overall, it was a great weekend and a great experience!!! |
