Description
Gary, my husband, is on the road 5 nights a week, 3 weeks a month. It's his own business so he sets the schedule. This wasn't a problem (I had my own business) until we had our first child and that became my full time job. Robby is now 2 and he hardly knows his dad. We have a family friend, 'uncle' Chris who has become more of a father to Robby than my own husband. Chris lives nearby so we see him almost every day. We have a lot of fun together but it worries me that Robby is missing out on his real dad. Not to mention I'm missing out on my husband. Which is another problem. Lately I've been having 'feelings' for Chris. I know it's because he gives me the attention I wish I could get from Gary, but I like the way he makes me feel when he's around. I'm afraid of where this is headed. I've talked to Gary about cutting back his out-of-town trips but he insists he's got to do it. Maybe in a year or two he'll be able to cut back. But I don't think Robby or I will be able to wait that long. ... sign me: Missing Him
