I was watching the GPS and monitoring my progress. I needed to pick up the pace because I did not want to be on this road at night. A hole or an animal could ruin things, quickly. I passed up a few roads to bayous I want to check out. I passed up a road to a Nature Trail and I saw a primitive campground with picnic tables perched on the levee. I noticed 4 wheeler trails into the swamp. All these are reasons for me to return and I will.
There is a huge area available for camping here and at the main headquarters which is on a bayou and has a boat launch.
