Purpose :The InterPol() function perform the linear interpolation on a set of data.

Syntax : =InterPol(range, x, [ColumnX], [ColumnY])

Arguments: 'range' is the range (table) of cells, where interpolation is to be based on. 'range' must contain at least 2 columns. x is the dependent variable to calculate the answer. ColumnX and ColumnY are optional to define which column is to be used as x and y respectively. By default, ColumnX=1 and ColumnY=2.

Description: The InterPol() function will do a linear interpolation on a set of data. It works similar to Vlookup(), but it will do an interpolation if the x value does not fall exactly on the given set of data. If x is outside the range, it will extrapolate based on the last two points in the given data set.
