| Chapter 5 �I thought you two would never get here,� Giselle exclaimed as Arizona and Carter walked into the new studio. �Take a look around.� It was absolutely breathtaking. The front room was pure white and the ceiling was painted to resemble a clear blue sky with a few wispy clouds. The skylights let in just enough light to brighten everything up. There were a few pieces of pastel colored furniture scattered about. The front desk was made of white marble that sparkled when the sun hit it. Two pillars separated the front room from the sitting room, where there was a plush white couch with a glass coffee table in front of it. There were two more pillars that led to the actual studio. The room was immense and had all the necessary equipment laid out. �Giselle, this is beautiful,� Arizona exclaimed. �How is it that you are even letting the two of us run this place,� Carter asked unbelievingly. �Because for some odd reason I trust you two,� Giselle said, smiling at them. �This is so incredible,� Z said, staring in awe of the wonderful studio. �I�m glad you like it so much because you�ll probably be spending a lot of time here,� Giselle told them. �True that,� Carter said, checking out the cameras. �Would you guys like to see your new house?� Giselle asked. �Of course,� Z said. �Then follow me,� Giselle said leading the two out of the new studio. ********** �YEEEEEEE HAWWWW!!!!!!� The scream echoed off the back walls of the mansion and were soon followed by a huge splash. �AH! Nick, you got me wet!� Kevin yelled as he shook drops of water off his arms. Nick swam over to the edge of the pool and sent a wave of water over the edge and onto Kevin. Before Kevin knew what hit him, Nick dived back under water and swam across the pool. �That�s it Kaos! I�m opening up a can of whoop ass on ya!� Kevin cried as he pulled off his tee shirt and dove in the pool after Nick. He swam frantically after the elusive blonde. Finally grabbing him by the ankle, Kevin reached his shoulders and held him under water for a few seconds. Finally Nick resurfaced, sputtering and coughing. The rest of the guys just sat around laughing at the two. They had never expected Kevin to do something like that. Apparently Nick wasn�t expecting it either. He glared at Kevin, who had a triumphant grin on his face, and got out of the pool. �Nick, you shouldn�t mess with Kevin like that. He�s bigger then you,� Howie said laughing. �Just barely,� Nick said, slightly embarrassed by the fiasco. �Lighten up Nicky. We�re on vacation now. The tour is over. Besides, picking on Kevin like that, you had it coming,� AJ said. Nick sat down on a lounge chair with a scowl on his face. �We�re just picking on you Frack,� Brian said. He looked at them and a smile spread on his face. �Yeah, I know,� he said. �You�re lucky we�re on break now or ya�ll would be sorry,� he said smiling at them mischievously. ************* �Damn! Giselle, where did you get the money to buy a house like this?� Carter asked staring at the spacious two-story house with a wrap-around porch. �It was my grandmother�s. Unfortunately she is unable to live alone as of recently so she had to be put into a �retirement center�. She said I could have the house and do what I want with it,� Giselle, explained. �Giselle, this is amazing,� Z exclaimed. �I thought you two would like it,� she smiled at them. �The inside is beautiful. And it�s fully furnished. I think you�ll find my grandmother had incredible taste in furniture.� Giselle led them up the front steps and into the house. The foyer opened up to a living room with high, cathedral ceilings. The staircase led up to an open hall that looked down on the living room and foyer. The kitchen was large with an island counter and pale wood cabinets. Also in the downstairs was a powder room and computer room. Upstairs consisted of three bedrooms and two baths. Overall the house was marvelous. It was completely decorated in bright, tropical colors making it very lively. �I love it,� Z commented after they looked all around. �Ditto that,� Carter said. �Well, I�m glad you two like it so much,� Giselle replied. �I hate to cut things so short, but I really should get back to Miami. I left Meredith in charge of the studio and you know how she gets.� �Alright, bye Giselle,� Z said, giving Giselle a hug goodbye. �Bye guys. Don�t do anything I wouldn�t do!� Giselle said, getting into her car. Carter and Arizona watched her pull out and drive away. They turned back and look over the beautiful house with the perfectly manicured lawn. They looked at each other, then back at the house. �Rooms,� they both said, making a dash for the front door. |
